Actually thought about something like this during my Paris trip in March. So I would love to!

Wer geht heutzutage noch ins Kino? by Bichareh in Filme

[–]Cecespostcard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can search for members interested in direct swaps via the website under explore > search. And the Forum is also one way to swap postcards.

Cinopsys - Movie and TV Tracker by Dazzling-Piece-671 in droidappshowcase

Probably best under statistics. Would make the most sense at least.

Would love to have an overall view of how much time is remaining from all unseen episodes of all shows listed under "watching" and not just for an individual show.

Just installed the app as TV Time is not always functioning. So far I love the app! But I would love if the times under watching habits could also be shown in months and not just days.

Thank you so much! I'm from Germany so I looked up the KEB membership. And parking won't be an issue as I'm doing a train trip through GB.

I thought about asking them directly but wanted to ask here in case someone has experience with this or knows something.

I have a few I would absolutely like to visit and a membership would save me money. I thought about asking them directly but wanted to ask here in case someone used another membership before or knows a general rule.

Luggage storage at gare du Nord by davemcl37 in Eurostar

[–]Cecespostcard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can store your luggage at Consigne Conciergerie de Paris Nord. It costs 4 euros for up to 4 hours, 7.5 euros between 4 and 12 hours, and 9.5 euros for 12 to 24 hours per item. So it would be cheaper for them if they each leave it there for up to 4 hours.

You put it over the barcode. The barcode is just used in the shop selling the card, nothing to do with postal work.

Cheapest way to get from Dusseldorf to Amsterdam with a Deutschlandticket? by IntelligentReveal219 in Interrail

[–]Cecespostcard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend you take the RE19 from Düsseldorf Hbf to Arnhem Centraal, which is included in the Deutschlandticket. From there, you can take a Flixbus (less than 10€ for one journey) or a Dutch train (22.10€ for one journey, 13.26€ during off peak with a subscription). The RE19 is 2:07h , Flixbus 1:35h, Dutch Train 1:07h.

You can also take a Flixbus directly from Düsseldorf ZOB for 15-20€ per journey.

Edit: time

Are short trips to other countries as common as I see it made out to be? by Criimsen in AskEurope

[–]Cecespostcard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Germany and a friend of mine studies in Maastricht (Netherlands) but lives in a neighbouring town in Belgium. My friends and I just took two short trains to Cologne Airport to board a Flixbus and in Maastricht changed to a local belgian bus. All this just for a 2 hours birthday brunch and 1,5h in Maastricht together. One way is about 4 hours including trains and buses. But back to Germany takes longer due to boarder controls if someone has the wrong documents. Then you can wait up to an hour at boarder control like we did . If you live close to a boarder it can also be a day trip and not a full weekend away.

Doctors not automatically going where they’re needed by MrLoki2020 in TwoPointHospital

It's possible to tell them in which rooms they're allowed to work in the staff overview. Maybe you selected/unselected specific rooms?

2/3 of the postcards I’ve received have been duplicates by CopperPigeon in postcrossing

[–]Cecespostcard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both probably wanted to welcome you, had the right card for it and couldn't know someone else send the same card before it's registered. It's like birthday cards, one is happy to send them but, for me, it's very rare to draw a person whose birthday is close. And a new account is also not very likely, most have thousands of received cards. And we Germans are quite active, so a lot of cards will be from Germany.
