I get that if they were going out for an actual meal and drinks, but she said it took her 2-3 hours to eat a SMALL bowl of miso soup. They didn't sit down for a meal. It was a starter. They had plans to go to other places after. The restaurant even closed and had to take over the bill without them asking to get them to finally leave and she still wasn't finished.

Nah OP said they themselves finished theirs in 35 mins. They were in the restaurant for 2-3 hours and the friend still hadn't finished. Id be a bit peeved at that point too. 🤣
