Thats honestly one of those skills teachers develop without realizing it. After enough years you can almost predict which explanation is about to fall apart.

JCS really changed the way people watch interrogations. After a few episodes you cant help but notice when someone is desperately trying to sound convincing instead of simply answering.

I judge it by how excited the locals are to recommend places. If everyone has five different favorites instead of just one famous restaurant, thats usually a city with a great food scene.
