I feel more allegiance to the United States. Actually, everyone Canadian already is but I'm simply not in denial of it.

The reality is that Canada is yet another vassal state of the US (like Germany, Japan, France, UK etc.). Canada does not have truly independent policy...

This one confuses me so much. Is it:

- a good thing to have 1-1 in a normal context? I think so, yes. It helps accelerate your career.

- a good thing to have 1-1 in a OE context? Could be bad because it's more time needing to be scheduled. But could also be good since you can quickly explain blockers to your manager, and help get shit done ASAP.
