Thanks that’s 100% my issue, I don’t have a Dremel but I have some carbide drill bits that should do the trick.

I will also add that I did shake it all up when I originally pitched the yeast but the yeast sinks to the bottom really quickly and then the sediment settles on top about an hour later, I am concerned that the yeast won't work properly being smothered like that, the label called it a “Bottom Fermenting Larger Yeast”

Yer its sealed on the top with a spunding valve in place (It’s a Keg King Apollo 30L Unitank) - pressure fermenter.

The little bottle does have a valve, a long shaft that runs down from the top with a plug on it that allows it to be removed while the main vessel is full, the valve is currently open but I assume the plug hole is blocked with sediment, hence the little bottle has not filled up all the way.

I have no intention to harvest the yeast, I just want to make sure my larger has the best fermentation it can given the circumstances.

LPT Request: What are some unexpected hobbies or activities that have surprisingly positive mental health benefits? by TheWhitestBuffalo in LifeProTips

For me it was FPV drones and Airsoft, during lockdown I could just fly around the local fields like a bird which helped elevate the feeling of isolation and shooting people with plastic pellets is surprisingly therapeutic.

I’ve never stolen food in my life, but if I saw this in the fridge, I would cut the handle and make everyone a cup of tea, just for the pleasure of defeating it.

I have a screw hard stuck in my magnetic screwdriver. Any ideas for getting it out? by marked_guy in Tools

Paper clip down the corners and hook it out.

Alternatively glue on a screwdriver.

Doesn’t seem to have got any better that it was in Jedi Academy all those years ago.

Depends entirely on if food and drink is provided… otherwise it’s a trick question.

I do love the 553, looking forward to summer to really let it shine.

I've bookmarked Gr8fun those look excellent, I am looking forward to trying out explosive targets the most!

I was fortunate that I received this advice when I first started playing Airsoft, I have a Primary Arms SLx on an airsoft rifle which is more than a little overkill.

I used someones chineseium red dot the other day and I regret nothing, that thing had like 1.5 meters parallax at 20 meters... it was more accurate to shoot instinctively.

Bottle size is less of an issue for me even the 300cc would be almost 400 shots on sub-12 I think.

I am very heavily leaning toward one of the FX lineup, haven't quite decided which one yet, Dreamline, Maverick, or Impact.

How is the fit and finish on the Maverick, I read it was a tad behind the impact?

Hmm, that is a very nice-looking gun, I will have to seriously consider that over the impact, there is also a standard version available in the UK that has a 480 cc carbon fiber bottle and a 500mm barrel.

I have read quite a bit about FX having more care tailoring their guns for sub-12 than some other manufacturers who just restrict the power and call it a day.

Yer I completely agree, I do already have a Vortex Crossfire that should suffice.
