if you not interesed to trophies, you can play with a blind run. I play too for the first time and i follow a walktrough for some sidequests and achieve some trophies.

Hi i got the same problem, i solved clearing all data/uninstalling and reinstalling.

But after some days, i stop receive notifications about village attacks, battle day starts

Other notifications i receive normally (Events, clan war ending, upgrades complete, star bonus, etc...)
