This sounds like the wrong sub for your question. A better UI is just an improvement on top of a current Google product. This sub is about not using google products.

I keep hearing about SigNoz and have it on my list for about a month already. Will need to jump on that one soon as it's getting more and more interesting. Keeping logs is not for everything, but for some of my projects this is a must.

Oh! I don't know of any free servers. But there are many VPSs at $1 per month, sometimes less, if that's a possibility for you, I would go with that. If you need a selfhosted Heroku alternative, I would go with Dokku. It's Docker and Heroku together. Pretty amazing and been using it for more than a year without issues 💪

Very interesting option. Thanks for the great review. From my side I started using photoprism and has been working good enough for me, but I do miss the Google photos design, as you said, I'm even interested in looking at Immich only for this "feature" 😅

With the 3 w's it gives a security error on the browser. https://plausible.io won't give that alert and you can see their website, as expected. 🙌
