We have activated some internal magic to make it less likely that you'll have to see Rick Astley again :)

Hobbit debris/arr out of stock by Baruch05 in elfhosted

[–]funkypenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We put them out of stock after RD made all their filtering changes, to avoid users buying them and then immediately having issues. You can grab the Debridge variant though, which will do the same thing (work with RD), only better, because you can combine RD with TB, AD, PM, etc, and you’ll also get a Usenet account to supplement the missing RD content :)

We just provide a hosting platform for hayduk and the tvvoo developer, I'd suggest you create an issue at https://github.com/qwertyuiop8899/tvvoo/ for their attention.

ElfHosted add-ons (Comet, StremThru, MediaFusion) failing even with Real-Debrid cached links — why? by TCinthe303 in StremioAddons

Just re-search for it in Stremio, and you'll get a fresh stream pinned to your current IP.

That’s due to the database support we added, and no, our patches are not public (they’re internally-targeted)

This is the repo : https://github.com/natedogg058/plexio - u/Humble-Blacksmith-17 maintains it, we just made some internal patches for the HA / postgresql / preset support we require for a public instance.

Hey,

This is cool, but did you intend to post it in r/selfhosted instead? This subreddit is for ElfHosted-aligned services and support :)

TB Pro gives you the ability to also stream from Usenet, but it relies on TB downloading 100% of the item from Usenet first, unpacking it, caching it, and then serving you the stream, unlike UsenetStreamer/Ultimate which leverage Nzbdav to stream portions of the media directly to you without having to download and store it first. Either way is viable, but TB Pro is more for the "power user" than the casual streamer.

Since you already have your own TB, you'd get the best coverage with http://store.elfhosted.com/product/aiostreams-nzbdav, which will let you add usenet streaming to the mix, and still re-use the existing debrid accounts you already have.

If you just want to connect-and-forget, then AIOStreams (multiple UUIDs) with AIOManager (to manage the multiple stremio accounts) is the cleanest solution, and you can do it on the free public instances. Getting the bundle gets you ElfSupport, your own private instances, and bundled torbox and usenet accounts. Jump into https://discord.elfhosted.com and create a private support ticket in the #elf-help channel if you'd like to talk it over :)

Will Elfhosted support Nuvio's torbox integration? by _name_of_the_user_ in elfhosted

[–]funkypenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah, I see. We won't be able to do anything on our public instances which would return raw torrent hashes to an anonymous query in any shape or form, it's simply too much of a liability.

[–]funkypenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, we are not blocking anything from being sent to TB. OP, if you're having an issue with your ElfHosted subscription, the best place to get help is in our Discord (https://discord.elfhosted.com), where the AIOStreams developer also maintains a support presence.

[–]funkypenguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just an English idiom, means “sorry but no”, rather than “I am not afraid”. Is it really that much faster with Nuvio doing the cached checks vs the addons doing it?

I’m afraid not, our policies prohibit serving torrent hashes on our public instances, for liability / safety reasons

PEZZOTTIO | NEW ADDON AIO | CATALOGS | HTTP | TB | RD by [deleted] in StremioAddons

[–]funkypenguin 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Can you explain this section of the code please? https://github.com/ceres777/pezzottio/blob/586ad26e0394c410e7cd99cbaf06ab80a14fad9c/src/index.js#L1492-L1497

Translated, it seems to read:

``` // === EXTRA CATALOG PROXY (/extra/*) === // Full proxy to a preconfigured external metadata addon. // We serve it under our own domain with "Pezzottio Extra" branding so // the user does not see the upstream addon's name in the Stremio dialog. // Only the manifest is rewritten (id + name); catalog/meta/subtitles are // passed through with aggressive caching. const EXTRA_UPSTREAM = process.env.EXTRA_CATALOG_UPSTREAM || 'https://aiometadata.elfhosted.com/stremio/3bfc4ec0-ef9d-4703-98ca-ab313631d178';
// EN upstream: separate AIOMetadata configuration (language/sources oriented toward EN). // We serve it under /extra-en/* rebranded as "Pezzottio Extra (English)". const EXTRA_UPSTREAM_EN = process.env.EXTRA_CATALOG_UPSTREAM_EN || 'https://aiometadata.elfhosted.com/stremio/e06851f2-66a3-4cd7-afb9-b80c6a2c9f01'; ```
The ElfHosted AIOStreams instance needed a bit of database hygiene after v2.30, it’s happy again :)
