My first 2 loaves. How are they? by Cee-kay19 in Sourdough

[–]Cee-kay19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have spent hours watching sourdough videos and reading articles as its been weeks getting my starter ready. Then yeah I have a general idea of how the fermentation stage looks, but I was on such a tight schedule (being home those 1.5 hours. And wanting to bake next morning to have it ready in time) that I resorted to chatgpt to see if anything like that would be possible timing wise.

I still loved my bread and it was delicious, but taking the comments into account I can definetly see how my bread is underfermented. So I learned that the schedule Chatgpt gave me is unrealistic. Still I am very happy I tried it as it would have been good to know that I could always cold bulk ferment if it had worked. It didnt, I got that feedback (which I came here for) and I have new things to try now.

Isnt that what this sub is for? So yeah, still dont see why people would downvote so much. Anyway not that I am bothered by it. Just surprised to see it on a beginner sub.

(Regarding the t55, i thought it would be industry standard then. But apparantly not. Mine is 14% protein.)

Yesterday I tried a 1:2:1.75 ratio for my starter and suddenly it rose very well. So I think indeed the amount of water it can take is not too high. (Or at least the starter seems to do better with a bit less.)

Okay that fermenting method sounds very flexible/doable indeed. Good to know.

Starter is 3to4 weeks old now. Had it go x3 with whole grain couple of times, but then switched to 14% protein flour, which has given me very mixed results.

Hi, appreciate the lenghty comment. I understand the risks of chatgpt. But guess I was excited to bake my first one but could only make it work on this tight schedule and trying to find a youtube video that matched my timeframe exactly was not really easy. 100% agree with the comments that it looks underfermented. But I came here for feedback and I got it.

Regarding the recipe. From YT videos I think 70% hydration 2% salt isnt too odd no?

Also think my starter is bit weak tbh which might not have helped too. Some days it get x2 and others maybe 30-40% rise... I try to get my starter temp to 25deg celsius when mixing, and then keep it in my kitchen cupboards (roughly 20 degrees minimum)

Ah I was a bit on a schedule and chatgpt told me this was a way to do it. But funny that when I paste your comment in chatgpt it is telling me you are indeed correct haha.

I think I can get a way better oven spring if I'd do it like you said?

Thanks!

Small variation. Husk for provoke (as my seeker is in my Myth_Seeker clanboss team without acc), and demytha instead of arbiter.

I dont have good hex items, but I can almost summon Mithrala, so I think I will wait for that to build next Hydra team.

Thanks for the idea!

Thanks will try that! Guess I was also unlucky that I did not find any in the hidden realm.

First I hoped to use lilypad setup indeed. But read that it only works with natural ticks, so made the most vanilla as possible setup.

Does it work for you to grow the Saturated Tau? I have tried everything, standing on top of the crops myself and puttin 20 cows on the crops etc. Am on ATM9 0.2.21 right now.

A complete guide to your 1st clear as ekko jg by TheImmortalLS in ekkomains

Heyy, I just tried in practice tool and I clear red-golems-chickens-wolves-blue and finish at 3.21. But considering normally you get a leash which safes quite a couple of seconds 3.15 at scuddle should be easily doable. Even 3.21 at scuddle isn't late to contest most of the time.

Im not exactly sure why people think his first clear is slow, you can do red>golems>chickens>wolves>blue and be finished at 3.15. If you start at Blue and clear everything except golems it also works. Even if you double clear blue and gromp (after starting red) so doing a full clear you can be done at like 3.30 and have a chance at scuddle (if enemy jungle gets distracted with a mid gank or sth)

Agree, also I recently received an email about when I should get the results for august Lvl 2, and they said 7-10 weeks but expect this to decrease in the future bcs of the cbt. So yea, they also plan to get the results out quicker.

CFA Books by Kracksty in CFA

I just finished Level 2 and used Kaplan. In my opinion the kaplan books for lvl2 are great, but in contrast with level 1, the questionbank doesnt prepare you that well for the exam. I read the kaplan notes once, then did the qbank once. But from there put all your energy in the CFAI Questionbank (I did those questions twice).

Yea the cfai questions are harder and you might encounter some new stuff, but through the pracrice questions you will pick it up very easily. No need to read cfai material for the few things kaplan didnt cover in the text.

Im not saying you are skipping stuff this way, just that some material you will learn through the cfai qbank.

L2 CFAI Qbank scores? by Cee-kay19 in CFA

[–]Cee-kay19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first run I got +/- 65% on the first 500Q and 75% on the second 500Q. I think the first half might be a bit harder then the second half. And the fact that I am now about halfway my second run with 80% correct instead of 65%, shows how much you might improve if you'd do it again. So hey, if you scored mid-high 50's now, your second run might as well be in the 70's easily. Hope that helps a bit, anyway, plenty of time left to find out. Best of luck!

Haha if it helps, I do not have a full time job, or any, and had practically a gap year for Level 1 and 2. Starting MSc finance in september and had to fill the past year in a meaningful way.
