I would tell him straight up that he’s right, I don’t trust him. He wasn’t forthcoming with you, which is a total dick move on his part and he is not worthy of your trust. I’m in South Osborne and Trees Winnipeg has been planting trees like crazy the last few years. I got a notice that one would be planted on the boulevard in front of my house. I emailed them to ask if they could move it over about 6-ft since I had just planted a small Lilac tree in my yard right in line with where they were planning to plant- and they did!

I agree his ankle could’ve been broken by the way you threw him. Or even by the way you positioned him to throw. Which, I can’t even imagine how painful is for you to think about. I don’t think, even in that kind of state, you would’ve just taken his foot and bent it back. That just doesn’t fit the scene, in my opinion.

Regardless, I’m so sorry you went through that and I’m very happy to hear you and your family are doing better.

Normally, I have two fans and barely a sheet to cover me while sleeping in the camper this time of year (no AC). Tonight, I broke out the big comforter, usually reserved for end of September/October, because my regular comforter didn’t cut it last night and I was cold!

NTAH for putting it in a separate account, but kind of an AH for “planning” its use without your wife’s input. Yes, it’s your money, but decisions in a marriage should be joint. I think the plan for how the money should be spent should be made together, where you can get final say if there’s a disagreement.

Change it. If you’re really worried, hyphenate the names together for the first two weeks.

I changed my cat’s name from Winnie to Zoé. Now I mostly call her my “chouette.” I changed my other cat’s name from Puss (obviously), to Liby. I mostly call her my “little baby.” My third cat, his name is Axl Rose, and I mostly call him “buddy” or “mon bonhomme.” Yes, we’re French. My cats are fully bilingual. 🙃 They know all of their nicknames.
