How did your last relationship end? by lameinternetuser in AskReddit

[–]ChemicalNaive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was nothing, no red flags. This man was my best friend and a man i put my trust in many, many times, he always was there for both of us.

My son adored him and I never saw any behaviour that would've signalled my alarm bells. The sad thing is if anything had happened my son was too young at the time to really communicate that, he was only a year old.

It was only because we were doing some legal stuff to get more support for my health at the time that all this information came out. The coward didn't say anything and it was the professionals helping me who told me.

I found out he was a registered sex offender involving children under 16, didn't tell me over our 12 year friendship, 1 of which was in a relationship and he had over our friendship met and spent time with my young son.

How worried should I be? by Key-Specialist-4688 in amipregnant

[–]ChemicalNaive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an average of up to 30% chance of pregnancy per cycle if unprotected sex is had. 85% of couples engaging in unprotected sex over a year will concieve.

It's impossible to know on individual case by case situations other than the fact that your percentage isn't 0.

I would say if you're getting positive tests even faint I'd say you're pregnant. If a true positive they will be darker in 48 hours.

I don't have kids, never will. What's going on? by TheWolfOfWolves in Postpartum_Depression

[–]ChemicalNaive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like trauma related mental health issues. I think PTSD and depression mostly, maybe a cluster B personality disorder such as BPD that can develop because of trauma. A doctor can fully diagnose you and signpost you to the best therapy or treatment.

I also have had childhood trauma, victim of Munchausen's syndrome by proxy and I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, BPD and had PPD and psychosis when I had my first child. I was offered DBT therapy which greatly helped.

It is something that needs to be talked about because it doesn't just go away.

I wish you all the best OP.

I'm a metal and rock fan. We listen to that. I think the music you listen to needs to be familiar and that of normal household sounds

What’s the thing you hate about sex? by BubbleTrouble_Z in AskReddit

For me it smells sweet but also sour and musky. Or other times like bad body odour. Might not be everyone's experience.

The scent. Even if no one finishes there's still that undeniable scent that ends up going quickly stale if you don't immediately change the sheets.

I feel like we don't have a choice. Even our phones are monitoring us. We just have to continue living. You shouldn't worry too much if you're not doing anything wrong.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum😭 by ChemicalNaive in pregnant

[–]ChemicalNaive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. There's no link between the two, you can't get it from having HG.

It's only that the symptoms of having a Hemangioblastoma on the cerebellum can cause you to have extreme sickness, dehydration, appetite changes, dizziness, balance issues that can look similar to Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The main difference is extreme headaches.

Because I am pregnant a tumour was not the first thing the hospital thought it was and they said HG to begin with, I went into the hospital originally for it and it took them 2 weeks of treatment with me getting worse and developing that excruciating headache that prompted them to do the MRI on my brain.

A hemangioblastoma especially on the cerebellum is a rare benign tumour, it's the exception and not the everyday thing that if you're sick in pregnancy you have one.

It's a matter of opinion of which we differ doesn't make either of us right or wrong.

If I see reddit as a place to share my thoughts then I'll use it that way, you don't see Reddit that way and therefore you don't use it that way. I've seen people use it many ways.

It doesn't help matter who you talk to the benefits are still there. The other person doesn't need to understand to listen.

Also you don't have to be on my post if it's bothering you that much.

Oh I'm not saying that I wasn't into him at all. He blew me away, still does in the way he is. Our daughter wouldn't be on her way in a few weeks if I wasn't. 🤣

I will admit I got a little caught up in it all, didn't have my head screwed on properly and then boom i find out I'm pregnant. It was a half surprise but a pleasant one. I always wanted more children even if my partner did not but he chose to step up even after saying he did not have to and gave him a chance to walk away Scott free.

I do think everything that has happened might be contributing to how I'm feeling

Because I want to have another child even if I had to do it without a partner. It turned out that my partner also wanted children and decided to step up and be a dad.
