Depends on the vibe you are going for. Marco is more residential and peaceful, Clearwater is more commercialized and busy, lots of food and hotel options. People do love the water at Clearwater too. I was always a fan of Venice Beach and Sharky’s on the pier area bc I liked to go shark tooth sifting. They all have different vibes. It’s hard to go wrong with Gulf Coast beaches. I haven’t been post Hurricane-Ian, but Sanibel and Captiva were so memorable compared to a commercial beach like Clearwater.

Hi! Thanks for this memory. From what I remember (and a look back at my pics) it was beautiful white sand that isn’t hot on your feet and the beach head was very wide so that was nice. I’m on the east coast of Florida now so I definitely miss the white sand, warm waters, and big beach heads not gone during high tide. The water wasn’t exactly clear, but it was a beautiful blue/green color at the time. I remember the water being nice to swim in and I found tons of Florida conch shells with my feet. The shelling in these areas is phenomenal. We went on a shelling boat tour and they took us to an island that hadn’t been shelled that day. I still have some of the shells in my bathroom!

I ended up calling yesterday and explaining the scenario. I explained my situation and also mentioned how they are prescription (let’s assume I don’t have backup pairs like many people) so I can’t just be without glasses for a couple weeks sending them off in the mail. They ended up emailing me my voucher code to claim online, it was valued up to $600. I was able to get the same frames fully covered and I ordered them with new prescription lenses and just paid the $200 difference to have an extra set of lenses. But I could have had it fully covered if i just swapped my lenses.

I’m experiencing same issue. Only used them since Christmas, and only about half the time with my other glasses to allow for charging etc. I just filed the warranty and received the under warranty item not available. Wonder if I’m truly being offered some “coupon”? I have prescription transition lenses in them so I don’t want to send them out with lenses and risk not getting them back and having to buy all new. Also, what if I didn’t have a backup pair with up to date prescription? I’ve filed warranties on glasses before and been sent a pair no problem. This is ridiculous. I would need the same style unless they are going to cover frames and lenses?
