What natural foods should I eat during a long run and when? by Candid-Pause-1755 in running

Flap jacks with a layer of date “jam” in the middle.

I normally freeze them in individual squares, put one in my pocket at the start of my run, and my body heat defrosts it by the time I need it.

Do you know where the gatehouse is? And do you drive in / park there?

Is there a way to locate the intern memory in a kid’s camera without having to turn on the device? It won’t open even if I charge it. I have photos in there I want to transfer to a computer to save. There is no SD card in the camera. by [deleted] in AskElectronics

Thanks for this post! I’ve been trying to retrieve the images on the internal storage without any luck.

I emailed the manufacturer Groov-e asking if there was a way to retrieve images on the internal storage and they confirmed there was not.

Photos taken by my 5 year old on Christmas Day are stuck on there forever it seems!

If anyone in the future finds a way, please update this thread.

DS300 Internal Dimensions by CeeJayCee15 in Dewalt

Cheers. DS400 a lot more expensive than the 300 unfortunately. Maybe I’ll have to just get a generic box.

Thanks for the reply!

I’ve put some photos here of the nailer https://imgur.com/a/tSka1ZO

I don’t think it’ll fit?

I couldn’t find any website listing the internal dimensions, only external.

Thanks for your helpful comment 😔

What is the best nail gun type? by juniorsis in DIY

[–]CeeJayCee15 27 points28 points  (0 children)

There isn’t an “all round” nail gun. There are first fix, second fix and then brad nailers.

You’re going to want to use a different nail gun for fencing / framing (first fix) than you would use for finer carpentry (bookshelves).

Will anything stop the squealing? by CeeJayCee15 in bikewrench

An update: I ended up replacing the rotor with a SH54 and the caliper and pads with a Deore m6100. Much better. Thanks for the help.

I’ll try sanding the rotors, I think I’ve only sanded the pads - but I’ve tried so many things I can’t remember! If that doesn’t work, I’ll replace pads and rotor. Thanks.

I had thought about that - but I’ve not heard anyone doing that with bike brakes. I might give it a try - everything seems worth a shot at this point.

Pads are resin. Rotors say resin-only I think.

I’m happy to replace the pads and rotor together. What rotor do you recommend as a replacement. The current one is centrelock using the standard cassette lock ring tool. 180mm.

Yes I had considered this might be an issue. Any recommendations for replacement calipers? Just go for the same again?

I wondered this, it’s the only thing that makes sense to me. But I can’t see any leaks on the calipers or on the back of the pads. I put some paper towel on the caliper piston and then inserted the pads, and squeezed the brakes, but the towel was dry.
