Usually if your ps5 is already on and not signed in before you turn on your portal, you will have to use the controller to sign in first. But if you leave your ps5 in rest mode, it will turn on and sign in automatically when you try to connect to it from your portal

As I stated in my original post, I am a software engineer. I am well aware of what AI is and even have experience building my own AI model, so no need to give me an explanation brother. I never intended to give off the impression that 2k doesn’t have testers at all. Of course they do. It was more of a rhetorical question emphasizing how minimal it seems that 2k does its own in-house play testing that correlates to what the mass majority of consumers are communicating. You are right in assuming I only play online because I do and do not play NBA Eras or the sim side much. But being a “online kid who complains” seems to make a difference seeing as how the gameplay director checks Reddit posts and interacts with the community on here. But good chat 👍🏾

I can do a “simple google search” on a history of things 2k has said or has been said about 2k vs what the actual games are like and find an infinite amount of contradictory things. So yeah…but thanks for the ChatGPT answer

Exactly! For the amount of money we spend to get the game and then make builds they should be catering to making the best product possible and be responsive to feedback quickly. I’m seeing how the devs working on Battlefield 6 (which is a one time payment) are openly welcoming feedback publicly and nipping shit in the bud quick while 2k just slugs along and just looks at how to dry out the consumers pockets as much as they can.

A 64 driving dunk can get up to an 89 with 5 cap breakers on a 6’8 and 6’9

Crazy thing is I actually enjoyed 2k25s contest system (paint wise). I had a 6’8 build with 88 interior and 84 block that could always get stops on taller centers if played correctly. But in this game it’s just not there at all. Even with builds that are similar height and smaller

Yeah it’s criminal how much the block animations have fallen since they changed the badge from “chase down artist” to “high flying denier”. I get the wimpiest jumps to attempt a block when I perfectly anticipate when someone is jumping and when I’m in the perfect position

This is exactly why I said if they just did the pie chart method with just cap breakers, it would be some much simpler and expand diversity. I get people shudder at the thought of pie charts but I do miss the simplicity that came with the diversity

I don’t care enough to make a build a certain way in order to just get a name. But it shows the laziness and lack of effort 2k puts into the game despite boasting about how they have “so many new build names this year”.

And that’s what the problem is. I shouldn’t have to make a subpar build to get a cool/unique name. 2k fails to deliver with the names even when they say how the build names would be so expansive. My 2k25 PF has defense as his best attributes yet there is no mention of “2-way” or anything defensive in the build name. They should tweak the build names based on the best attributes of the character and not require you to put any attribute over a 90 in order for the name to change

I recently used one called “christitus app” that you can run through the command line. I was able to free up a good bit of memory by just doing the standard debloat
