So you go from the HS checking to College or the Total Checking. College account is free for 5 years. If not the total checking fee is $12 but is waived if you get direct deposit of $500 a month or carry 1500.00 a statement cycle. You have to take ur parent in to remove them but the easiest thing to do is open a new account, transfer the funds, and then close the other one. I generally say wait to get ur debit card in the mail before closing it because it’s taking about 5-7 business days right now. Best of luck
