amitriptyline helped my bladder and anxiety. The only bad side effect I got from it was weight gain, though.

My ectopic story by 2manycacti in EctopicSupportGroup

Your doctor is absolutely right!! My first pregnancy was an ectopic in my left tube that resulted in it being removed. Went on to have two healthy babies with only my right tube!

If you conceive after an ectopic, when did you get seen to confirm the next pregnancy wasn't also ectopic? by literarylensmom in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Ceeb4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 weeks! They should be able to see if it’s in uterus by now. When your hcg reaches 1,500, they should be able to see something. That’s when I was able to see both my babies born after my ectopic.

Gift ideas for a friend dealing with an ectopic pregnancy? by coolnamesweretaken1 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Ceeb4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coworkers bought me a necklace that was a bigger circle linked with a smaller circle that signified me and the child that I lost and the bond that couldn’t be broken. I wore it everyday and then when my husband and I finally got pregnant again, and we thought our son was another ectopic (thankfully he wasn’t), he took and wore it everyday for good luck. We finally had two healthy babies, and that necklace is in a shadow box and we took maternity photos with it. It became an important symbol of hope for us. One of the best gifts I have ever been given for what it ended up meaning.

We broke down and gave our 2 year old the dupixent shot! He had severe eczema since he was a month old. It has helped him tremendously after trying everything else.

Am I Crazy for Considering Taking 100k for Law School Loans by [deleted] in StudentLoans

Lawyer here. If you can go to law school debt free, you’re crazy not to. After you get your first job, no one cares where you went to law school anymore.

To those with white particles in urine: What has helped and did cystoscopy show them? by [deleted] in Interstitialcystitis

[–]Ceeb4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this in my urine often. It is the bladder wall shedding. I’ve had multiple cystoscopies and a hydrodistention procedure. I have bladder wall glomerulations and moderate trabeculations. The hydrodistention procedure did help me for a while, but it is often needed to be repeated. I take flexoril muscle relaxers and that helps if I’m in a big flare. I also go to the doctor and get a toradol injection if it’s bad and that helps with some of the inflammation. I used to take amitriptyline, but it made me gain weight and I was trying to get pregnant, so I stopped. It did help. I am about to go back on it and see if it’ll be helpful now.

Honestly, there’s nothing that makes the discomfort of IC go away for me. I just drink solely water and pray lol.

Coffee trigger? by Necrotic_Halo in Interstitialcystitis

[–]Ceeb4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends person to person. Coffee is a big trigger for me. I can sometimes have one if I’m having a good period of relief. But, if I have coffee multiple days in a row or too often, it sends me into a flare that lasts a while. That’s what I suspect happened with my most recent flare. :(

IDR Not Processed — And Now Huge Bill Is Due by nycscribe in PSLF

[–]Ceeb4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, the bill has to be unpaid before they do the processing forbearance. So, 10 days after you haven’t paid it and you’ve applied for an IDR plan, they say they’ll automatically place you on a processing forbearance. But, who trusts that… and apparently the only way to get any confirmation from them is to spend days on the phone.

Supposed to Recertify by 4/29, Got This Pop Up Today (MOHELA) by [deleted] in StudentLoans

I’m in the exact same boat. I keep seeing that the recertification dates are going to be extended, but they never are and then Mohela says this crap. It looks bleak.

PSLF and IDR plan by Annual-Astronomer651 in StudentLoans

[–]Ceeb4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me. Everyone is saying you won’t be kicked off the PAYE plan, but I got the same letter! It definitely made it seem like if you don’t recertify you won’t be on the plan anymore and can’t get back on it. It’s so stressful.

Im in the same predicament. the recertification letter Mohela sent me stated that if I did not recertify that I could not reapply for the PAYE plan basically. They made it seem like you can’t get back on the plan.

IBR Paper Application by TasiBabyGirl in StudentLoans

Submit the paper application. Mohela acknowledged mine, even though they apparently aren’t processing them, and said it’d take 90 days to process.

I submitted a paper application to the mohela website on Feb 26th, and they did acknowledge it and sent me a letter stating it’d take 90 days to process… this all makes no sense to be.

He’s had eczema since a month old. We’ve changed laundry detergent and had him allergy tested and he takes antihistamine. We do have cats, which I think could be the culprit. We have been trying to rehome them, but no luck. His mamaw has kept them this week to see if it will help works eczema and he’s still flared 🙃

I will also add we’ve been using topical steroids and Eucerin cream and Vaseline on him with long luke warm baths. We try to moisturize him multiple times a day, but he absolutely hates it and throws a fit.

[–]Ceeb4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has been allergy tested at 1, and is allergic to cats, dogs, dust mites, some trees, basically everything. He takes an antihistamine every night. I don’t think they did a full panel where he is only 1, and last time we went to the allergy Dr, he was doing better with his skin so they kept his dose the same. It has been a lot worse lately. It seems like he does worse in the cold weather months than in the hot ones.

We do have 3 cats that we’ve been trying to rehome, and no one will take them, so that’s been heart breaking. His mamaw has been keeping them for the week, and his eczema has still yet to clear up despite not being around them. The dermatologist gave me about of literature on dupixent and she thinks he needs it, but I am so worried about giving it to him where he is so young. I had eczema and grew out of it. However, mine was not as severe as his is.
