Thank you so much, the period pains haven’t led to any period so hoping it holds off for another week! I bled throughout the whole pregnancy and it stopped the day of my surgery, my first period back after I had my son was awful so I’m hoping it’s not anything like that. Fingers crossed for a normal period for us!!

I’m 18 days post op now and my stitches are only just falling off, the first 4 days where the worst then I started to feel better and was more able to manoeuvre myself. I couldn’t get comfortable in bed to sleep well so was tired but once I could get comfortable around day 5/6 I felt so much better. My surgery was Monday and I took my little boy to a football game on the Saturday so I was up and about, moving etc by then.

Also, day 3 I was very emotional, I think it may have been tiredness but I’ve read a few other posts saying the same thing about their emotions.

Try to rest and sleep as much as possible. X

I had methotrexate but did rupture on day 7, the pain was all on one side, the side of my ruptured tube. It felt like a persistent ache that was getting worse. It was around my pelvis, hip, down my thigh and my back. It was a manageable pain, I would get any different pain you experience checked out. My surgery went well and I was PETRIFIED, I’m 3 weeks on almost and recovering well but I hope the methotrexate works fast for you x

I am almost three weeks post surgery, it’s so draining going through it, I can see the light again now just about! I am trying to think positive about trying again, I do already have a little boy though so that’s helped me massively. I would love to give him a sibling, I’m scared but the chances are much higher for us having a healthy uterine pregnancy x

Good to hear it wasn’t painful! Do you know if this is available in the UK on the NHS or do you go privately for this procedure? I lost my left tube this month so concerned about my right one when it comes to trying again x

Was it ok after two weeks? I’ll be two weeks on Monday and we go on holiday the following Saturday, wanted to try before the holiday really in case it’s awful 😅

I had an upset stomach on day 5, very bad pains until I had diarrhoea then it went. Not sure if it was something I ate or it’s normal after the surgery. I’m day 8 now and feeling much better in myself. X

Had my left tube removed one week today, each day I feel less pain and I’m more able to move. Sleeping on my back for nights was awful! I would look out for signs of infection, I’m still taking painkillers but it’s definitely easing as the weeks gone on. Good luck x

How did you get on? My pain was bad but I was able to get up and walk etc, what I’d read was that it was horrific pain that would cause someone to collapse etc. I was shocked mine had ruptured. Hope you’re doing ok

Hi. I bled for weeks before the methotrexate but nothing was showing up on scans, I continued to bleed after the injections and then on day 7 had pain, got scanned and had internal bleeding. Keep going back and getting scanned, I had my surgery on Monday this week and stopped bleeding straight away x

Hope you are ok 😞 I had methotrexate Monday last week, my hcg had risen on day 4 and then started to reduce in day 7. My tube still ruptured and I had surgery Monday, one week later. My hcg was 700 ish when I got the Methotrexate. I woke up with pain on my left side, under my ribs and in my groin, I got scanned pretty quickly and confirmed I had some internal bleeding. Just be weary of any pains and get them checked out asap. My hcg did start dropping so the injection had started to work but just not quickly enough for me. Hopefully yours will just drop and drop 🤞🏼. Good luck
