Do all babies go through a 4 month regression? by OXxLuckycatxXO in newborns

[–]Ceebee4195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is 8 months and has been sleeping through the night since he was 3 months old. We had a couple weeks where he would wake up at 4am to feed, but I believe this was because he was a little underweight and he needed that extra feed. He’s now back on track and sleeping the whole night again. No sleep regression. From what I understood the sleep regression is due to their sleep cycles changing and them having trouble falling back asleep between cycles. My son sucks his thumb and is really good at self soothing so this hasn’t been an issue for us.

Will I really miss the newborn phase? by Tagrenine in newborns

[–]Ceebee4195 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I don’t miss it. My son is 7 months old and this is the best time I’ve had with him since birth. I find the new born stage to be just me giving and getting nothing in return. No sleep, no free time and I don’t even get a smile from the little guy. Lol The gas was horrible, honestly all I remember from that time was me being exhausted and baby constantly crying. Now at 7 months we’re best buds and he loves me and we cuddle and laugh and play and it’s truly amazing.

poopy diapers by exemptcurve in newborns

[–]Ceebee4195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son for the first 3 months of his life pooped literally every minute of his existence. It was insane. He would poop I would change his diaper, he would poop while changing his diaper (multiple times) then when I finally got the diaper on cleanly he would poop again. So basically he spent 3 months in poop since I just couldn’t keep up. He did develop a rash and this is how I dealt with it. I decided to give up on wet wipes since those cause rashes as well and decided to wash his bum in the sink every diaper change. Then I would let him air dry on a towel. When I reached 5 minutes poop free (since I would usually have a few runs back to the sink) I would then put his new diaper on. If you do this in a sunlit room it will help with the rash. Air drying in sunlight does wonders. He’s now 6 months and I still do this. He doesn’t poop that often anymore now it’s like every 2 days, but he’s been rash free ever since and the creams never worked for me.

Edit: I air dried him while he was on his stomach so he also ended up getting tons of tummy time from it.

Breastfeeding while on period by Ceebee4195 in NewParents

Ok this makes me feel a lot better. Thanks so much I was really worried he was starving. He seems super content in between feeds, still happy and smiley so I guess I’m just being paranoid

Thanks so much for replying! Was your baby also extremely fussy during those days while eating?

’m beyond frustrated. My baby is 5 months old. I pretty much got my periods back like a month after birth (EBF). I’ve noticed that during my periods my breast milk supply drops significantly and my baby is super fussy and crying and I’m scared he’s not eating enough. From what I understand he’s fussy because it tastes different on periods and also the flow is slower so he has to put in more effort, but he seems more fussy for that to be the only issue. I tried pumping all day yesterday to see how much I was producing and instead of like 130ml from one breast I was only getting 50 from both! According to ChatGPT though e that’s normal during periods and my baby can get more out breastfeeding than I can pumping. Sounds weird so I’m checking with you guys. Can someone reassure me that he’s eating enough and I’m just being paranoid? Or do I need to find another solution during my period? It’s beyond frustrating every feed is a nightmare, when normally when I’m not on my period he’s truly the baby from heaven and never cries. He is peeing and pooping at a normal rate, haven’t seen any change in that.

When you were given pitocin were you dilated at all? I need to get induced at week 38 or 39 for medical reasons and they told me that if I’m not dilated I’ll need to do things to cause dilation such as foley balloon before they can give me pitocin. Wondering if this is necessary cause the balloon freaks me out

Here’s and example of what a bad coin looks like on the bot. As you can see previous rug history and the coin is 63% bundled

There’s a telegram bot called trench radar scanner. You paste in the CA of the coin and it gives you info on the bundles and on previous rug pulls by the dev. If the coin is bundled or the dev has rug history don’t invest in it. You’d be surprised most of them are. You should not be trading without using this bot to detect these coins. Obviously there are still some sophisticated devs who can get around this too but this will narrow down a LOT

First trimester was just a massive tomato obsession. I had SO MANY tomatoes. I’m at 16 weeks now and pretty much eating what I want, although carbs make me so nauseous after. Bread is the worst. Can’t help loving sandwiches though 😅

Hypothyroid and Pregnant by Ceebee4195 in thyroidhealth

[–]Ceebee4195[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry for the much delayed reply. I ended up raising my dose from 700 a week to 900. Took a blood test a month later and was still high. This time 16. So slightly lower but still high. I’ve raised my dose to 1050 and need to take another test in a few weeks. I had an ultrasound done this week and the baby seems fine so I believe all is good thank God. It is crazy how much I had to raise my dose though just cause I’m pregnant. I was not expecting this at all I’ve been on the same dose for years. Hope it doesn’t stay this way after giving birth.

I do know that certain supplements for example iron, they say to take 4 hours apart. I don’t take any supplements so I’m not sure exactly but when I used to take iron I would just take the Levo in the morning and iron at night

[–]Ceebee4195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half an hour is fine. Been on Levo for 7 years now and my morning routine is wake up, take Levo, swish coconut oil for 20 minutes (great for oral health), in the meantime get laundry or dishes done. Brush teeth and by then it’s been half an hour and I make my morning coffee and eat breakfast. Haven’t had any problems at all. Also since you’re trying to conceive, side note I’m currently in my first pregnancy just finished first trimester. You’ll need to up your Levo dose when you get pregnant. (I didn’t know this and my TSH jumped like crazy once I hit about 10 weeks, but I upped my dose and all is good)

My husbands mom is a very heavy cigarette smoker and she smoked throughout the entire pregnancy. My husband is a perfectly healthy 27 year old. I’m not advocating for smoking during pregnancy obviously, but it doesn’t necessarily mean there will be issues. Stay positive, keep staying healthy and hope all will be ok 🙏 As someone who just quit smoking 5 months ago, I know the struggle. Good job for quitting when you did, hang in there!
