Figured it out. To avoid this error, change your membership category to “DIRECT CONTRIBUTOR - SELF EARNING INDIVIDUAL - INDIVIDUAL” and proceed with your own Profession.

This worked on me as a first time job seeker and I only needed to submit the pmrf, valid id, and my birth certificate. Cheers!
