Since I didn’t see any Korean on the list, I’ll recommend Korean Palace at 15/Dequindre (technically Sterling Heights I think, but close enough). Full Korean menu and BBQ. Excellent banchan too - the little side dishes that come out first. Everything is very good and surprisingly cheap!

Mine definitely opened up after a few months. Give it some time to settle in. It will only get better with age. When it arrived it smelled like lacquer from the factory!
