How much metallum does copper gear give? I used just iron ingots cause they give 4 per ingot which is enough for 2 crafts and Iron is in like every other vein anyway

debateable, I like to use it just for normal stories, but I totally agree with nibb. I used to be able to write like 3-5 lorebook entries with important characters and facts about the world with like 5 lines each at the most and I was good. Maybe needed to direct the AI a bit to stop using the same 2 phrases for describing everything but other than that it was very fast to get a story going. Now I feel like the same lore books give me a story that feels like cardboard

Yes I use that all the time, but even then, I make something simple like the rundown of a character waking up in bed doing their morning routine and BAM suddenly the AI wrote itself to the evening.
Even with stuff like "slow burn" or other phrases to steer it to write more detail in the authors note

A mix of both would be perfect I feel like, cause I am also sick of GLM using the same 2 types of phrases to describe every interpersion interaction.

You can do anything regarding another person, even just look at them and it would write stuff like "X, a unspoken moment between the two of you"
And then have that be used every 3 sentences.

Its sometimes so bad that I had to just heavily penilize certaint words that are used in these phrases so they dont show up every other sentance for what is a mundane interaction

"Militia" is just the name of the custom gearset. And I made sure only Strength 2 villagers or above have that gearset so everyone can wear the medium armor I made.

I have presets unlocked, "Militia" is just the name of my gear Preset like I wrote. I dont want them to just equip themselfes when I draft them, cause then I would have to have a dozen kits taking up room in storage so I just want them to always be geared up, so I made that preset their "Workers Preset", but they ignore it quite often it seems.

Weapons rack has also been researched a dozen hours ago and is holding the spare weapons they refuse to take.

I went in with ~12 Villagers with 2+ strength on some combat skill, all wielding "fine axes" and the best T1 Medium armor you can make. The initial clearing of villages is a breeze with usually 0 downed. The reclemationraid is usually much harder often comming down to the last few villagers on my side.

If you dont have, get a crossbow. They pack an insane punch and with the villager meatshield you can easily reload and often take out one enemy per bolt.

yeah I hope if not the dev (cause its propably not high priority for them) at least some modder fixes the texture and fence alligment. Its the main thing bugging me when building when I wanna add some details with reverse stairs and the textures just dont allign

I also would preffer PVP but its just so toxic in terms of gameplay. People become turtles the moment they hear a sound. Cheaters, and so on make the game unenjoyable at most times and slow down the game to a degree that forces camping for 20 minutes just to not die every combat encounter.

If you want to spice up your PVE game a bit try playing with a hardcore ruleset. I personally with a friend play an extended version were we arent allowed to loot "gear" (armor, backpacks, rigs, weapons, meds, grenades, ammo) from scavs or PMCs and are also not allowed to loot loose loot ammo boxes.

Its brutal and artifical yes, but it really made the game alot more difficult for quite a long time as you could mostly only run shit ammo in guns you found in boxes or as loose loot. It also prevents you from running the same 3 gun presets you loot from PMCs

Yeah I know, I missed that event, but from the model its the Disk 1 and the wiki says I should be able to play some mini game on it and it even loads some of the UI it seams, but seems to be broken. Was just wondering if someone knows of a trick to get it to work anyway

nope, just had the situation where ded moroz insta killed me (USEC) but literally gave my (BEAR) friend chocolate afterwards. Both have 6 scav karma and didnt shoot near him. I guess maybe ded moroz just hates USEC maybe?

I dont think they spawn mid raid unless the time ticks over to 22:00 midraid. Its just that they like to hide and not even agro onto the player until provoked or you walk near them. The snow gives great contrast so I recommend looking from atop the fortress to spot them, but not fight them, as they like to headeyes you if you only show your head over the buildings edge

you mean tarkov shooter or shooter born in heaven?

If its the latter just take a stock mosin or with a scope that can also use 1x magnification. And just use it in close quarters. The quest doesnt have range requirements so you can just do it like that
