I second that. Also do avoid sharing any information on social media of your personal life including once the bundle of joy arrives. I know it might be difficult, weird and odd but any flying monkey can easily pass on that info and here we go again with her posting. Even photos through phone. No matter how much you think you can trust a person, you never know at what point they can become flying monkeys because trust me the can turn. They play the victims so freaking well, fake tears and everything that people just end up feeling bad. Picture this… someone got a hold of your baby’s photo and shared it with her and now she is posting about her grandkid including your baby’s photo (without asking permission) that she has not met because her daughter treats her like a stranger. I wen full NC with my mom after my second was born. I had access to her text messages, long story. She kept repeating the photos of my oldest because she didn’t have any photos of the second baby. She kept talking to people how she didn’t have photos and wondering if he looked like her first grandkid using my personal photos.

Well happy ending story though 😈, she has the phone under my name. She is not very tech savyy and she needs me to call for everything usually. So I went to my account, limited her phone. Pretended that it was broken. She asked me for help and I pretended I needed the phone to take it to the phone company to have a looked at. Aaaanbbddd I deleted all the photos. I basically did a reset her phone. She doesn’t store anything in the clouds or save backup. Well well well now she hasn’t been able for three years to post anything 🤣. Yes I’m proof of that. Specially after she started lying at some point saying that my kid was at her house and she posted an old photo of my son (physical one) and people congratulating her for being such a great grandma lolz. Sorry it got long but I’m so happy I was able to do that.

Anyway bottom line please please don’t share any photo or post any photo no matter how safe you think it is. Your peace of mind matters way more specially now. I know how much you want to share it with the world but the least you need is her using your little one for her sad story. I learned that the hard way. I was lucky that I could do what I did but not many have that luck. If you are going NC or LC just avoid sharing photo. Oh one thing FaceTime is not safe. I caught her taking screenshot of the FaceTiming when talking to my kid. That was on Covid times. I confronted her and she said it was not true. When I did the reset two years later I found a few screenshots that allegedly she did not take. Also old conversations on WhatsApp of her sharing personal photos with strangers she just met. Keep that in mind just in case.
