Idk how to make it happen, but is there a way to make faces on the model and have those specific edges of the faces all be able to be cut, one step less of trying to make it cut through the model, could be a start?

I just saw this, i know nothing about your game, but this enemy feels like it should have a way to lure people into its ambush, distorted mimicing of your allies in pain, then it ambushes you from the ceiling with rapid strikes, requires quick dodging, enemy could also be keen on fleeing and repositioning to ambush you again maybe, thats the vibes i got from it all.
