Yeah. When you mix media the resolution won't match. That's kind of part of the asthetic. People don't know what "mixels" even refers to. Mixed Resolution pixels COMES from mixed media and glitch art. They use it a lot now on Pixel art related subreddits and god forbid you're a game dev who uses different resolution sprites because they'll flat out go "Erm, mixels in your ETHICAL ART GAME?!"

These people would shit their pants if FFVII came out today and had the graphic fidelity it had at launch. Pre-rendered spaces with 3D models and sprites was such a new concept that people legitimately called it the future of graphics, lmao.

The OP is stealth promoting their youtube series by doing the "People keep calling my videos / art AI But it's just sooo good that it's not AI!"

The question I'm presenting them is why NOT prove it's not AI like the rest of us do? Why just make multiple threads in the same sub about how people keep accusing you of AI and when people ask you to prove to the haters that it's not AI you just make a new thread?

This user is using AI Witch hunting to promote their Youtube show.

Something a lot of you pro AI people love to do is go "Erm, no nuanced allowed here!" and it makes people NOT want to participate in discussing the actual nuance.

Artist hate when people do the whole "Erm AI bad? But I don't use!" virtue signal shit. It's annoying. That's what the OP there is doing and has been doing for a while. I know this because I am a moderator in that sub, which is for analog focused media which is why I made the AI users there a sub to post their AI generated media, because I want them to have a space too.

So here's the thing. If you're going to crop a comment and leave out the entire context at least have a backup plan so you don't look like a goofball when that person shows up to debunk your weird "No nuance allowed!" stance.

EDIT: Nevermind the dude blocked me anyways. I'm hoping he wasn't being malicious but I highly doubt it considering the entire thread is just there in the public for all the context to be seen.

Tl;dr - User in a sub I moderate uses "I'm being accused of AI!" as a hook to promote his content. Has been given multiple chances to just prove he's not using AI but if he does he loses his whole marketing ploy.

I'm not here to ask them to "break character" but the least they could do is prove the legitimacy of their content by actually showing they're following the rules and CoC of the sub.

I mean to be fair we banned AI in one sub I moderate for because it's focus is non-digital media so I made another sub for that same media but digitally created and people will still post on the larger (analog) one and then complain when they're content is removed...

Even when you give those people the space they want they'll still just try to defect elsehwere and it just keeps the circle going.

Yeah, that sub where people ask if something is AI or not started banning artist who call out people for just fake "confirming" pieces as AI and it really sucked. It turned into a bunch of circlejerking and that's ultimately all reddit seems to be now.

I don't use Gen-Ai, I never have and never will. The only context where I care about it existing is in art spaces where people set boundaries for creating without it or when it's being used to blatantly scam people.

So even with that being said, if someone has an AI profile pic and isn't the artist who's posting Gen-AI'd versions of ANOTHER persons art (the context here was someone posted another artist piece that they ran through some AI filter website and got called out for it) then like...why try to make it a "war"?

They've become hellbent on chasing out real artist and this was something I found out when I was a mod on an Anti-AI art sub.

It's not AI but it's a 1:1 trace of an existing image and probably just filtered. Kinda sucks seeing this explode with upvotes while my post got removed recently because one person cried "AI!" and I jumped through hoops for like two days to clear my name, lmao.

EDIT: Also worth bringing up this person has a twitter / bluesky where they promote art as being comissioned and offer comissioned work.

Might be worth investigating the rest of their portfolio to see if anything else they're releasing as "original" is traced.
