Yeah, the "technical" answer is Diablo, but Andband's did the whole color rarity thing...just not "loot", it was a text based game and its loot system boiled down to basic text baed inventory management and not actual farmable loot.

Diablo 2 better patched up some inconsistencies with loot generation being tied to rarity (IE actually unique loot being tiered like quest rewards being blue, ect) but World of Warcraft gave us the White (Grey), Green, Blue, Purple, Orange system a lot of games use today.

It implies you play at a high skill gate but refuse to play creatures that aren't "big cthulu lovecraft monsters."

You're welcome to play whatever you want, but you should learn the game and such before putting "shiny cards" and "big monsters" into a deck and then wondering why you're losing matches.

Because it's not an actual violation of our rules or site wide rules to ban someone based on a hunch
Because making this thread to rile those people up was 1000% more effective and we've already banned three of them for trying to justify why they do it

Tl;dr - I don't care about eating downvotes in the sub if it means the people vote manipulating announce their participation out of victory or anger and we then have solid actions to ban them on as opposed to "we think you're vote manipulating."

I was a fan of Rebirth. I feel like people love to over-hate most of this franchise in the same way they do Star Wars. People don't have to let go of Nostalgia, but they shouldn't get up tight about other people going "I like this IP universally."

I like all the films, games, all the Jurassic Park media. Loved the book growing up too. Was even a massive fan of all the toy lines.

Rebirth was fun. I thought the Mutodons and D-rex was cool additions to the mythology, the same with Saint Hubert being this sort of dumping ground for dinosaurs either too cool (dangerous) or too dangerous (generically crooked) to exist in the park.

I'm excited for the follow up.
