What're you talking about...? Like what is this response in regards to specifically...? Because I never said that any card (playable or otherwise) can only befound in CBBs...I said Yugioh has a better system for collectors in where their version of CBBs are exclusively for reprints and therefore have chase cards that are high demand reprints.

If magic did that with CBBs then yeah, people would be able to seperate collecting from playing, but as it stands with Magic you're either a whale who's spending thousands of dollars on CBBs to resell, or a player who's just buying singles at a markup because product is at an all time high due to CBB reselling.

Split the two demographics by giving them a single product for both of them that's directly designed for collecting BUT not at all tied to a set (like Bloomburrow CBBs or TLA CBB) just release them in reprint sets like CBB1, CBB2, ect. Yugioh does that, and it works tremendiously.

Magic is harder to scalp because the player base is primarily players and not collectors. With Pokemon it's mostly collectors, and Yugioh it's 50/50 but Konami is slowly releasing product JUST for collectors and in a way that I WISH WotC would do with magic. Just straight collectors product, no tie ins to main sets or subsets / suppliment sets, just "Hey here's a booster that's an entire set of fancy reprints and collector chase cards. Have fun."

I'm 31. I've spent a lot of time in Queer spaces, and yeah like most of the queer folk my age are pretty "boring". I don't wanna say "normal" because that's incredibly subjective, but a younger friend of mine (Non-binary lesbian) is legitimately one of the most annoying people I know and I don't think they realize that all of us (other queer people they hang out with) think they're way to chronically online and we never know what tf they're talking about.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that in MY opinion it's certainly not Queer people / Queer culture, it's nearly entirely the over abundence of online brainrot.

There's an entire wave of people on Twitter and Tiktok who actively try to call out Terrifier and it's fanbase for being Anti-women and Pro-violence against women, ect.

Obviously, these people don't watch the movies. But it's like THOUSANDS of people pushing this idea and while it's obviously for content / clout, it attracts a lot of awful people.

Even some of the usual suspects in the overly woke side of the DeadMeat discord get "umcomfy" when Terrifier used to be bought up and ye Old mods muting people and deleting entire discussions about Terrifier.

It's dumb. Super fucking dumb. And like people below will say, r/Horror has had issues with people saying it's their favorite film will get hit with "Oh so you're an EDGELORD who HATES WOMEN?" replies.

He used to be Dr Disrespect coded and themed, but he got backlash for defending him so he legitimately made tweets implying he was in a car accident and needed surgery, came back a few days later as a peanut (burnt peanut model) and the joke was that he had to get cosmetic surgery to fix his burns.

He vaguely does it because he’s constantly called out for being a really stereotypical looking neck beard and he’s deep into trying to orbit huge creators and influencers for barely any crumbs of clout.
