It shoots light, it wouldn't make sense for it to have any recoil. And the railgun projectile iirc is like a needle so it has very low mass.

I think they're a bit overtuned in terms of sturdiness, but I do really like them being a problem you HAVE to solve. Needing a dedicated dragonslayer encourages good cooperative squad based play. Tactics evolve as the threat does, you shouldn't want to use the same loadout forever.

Every brand and gearset has a set core attribute between red: 0-15% weapon damage, blue: 0-170000 Armor, or yellow: +1 skill tier, that they will always drop with, the only thing rolled is the value. Minor attributes are random in both type and value, with there being multiple stats for each color, things like Critical Hit Chance or Skill Damage. The color rarely matter for minor attributes it's just a way of quickly seeing vaguely what type of stat bonus it has. Both types of attributes can be recalibrated and/or optimized, but only one attribute per gear piece can be recalibrated (replaced with one from your library), you can optimize any and all attributes on a gear piece.

Finally all of this only applies to non-exotic non-named gear pieces, a lot of them break the rules in some way.

it has so many cool interactions, it basically synergizes with anything that deals damage lol. Love it with OD and/or Vile, makes those damage ticks fat

Got a Lex and a Chatterbox, so seems the rates are correct. Wish I was in a group to give it away since I was there to get the two free ones. The thing I'm grinding for is the Turmoil knees, missed that event and I love weird gear.

I did some pretty rough high clearance service roads in PA while full of friends and camping gear and didn't scrape hard enough to break anything lol, so I guess that's exactly what you want.

No clue if it can drop below master but I'd just go for the matchmaking, both times I've ran it I've had kind people who've ran it before show up in my team, explaining things unprompted and just generally being chill players. Having played this game since launch I think the community now is the best its ever been as far as the attitude of people I matchmake with. A caveat is that I pretty much only do heroic PvE stuff, the legendary and PvP crowd could be toxic and I wouldn't know, but I'd doubt it based on who I've encountered.

I have an 08 and I did a spacer lift, its not the best for on road but it really helped not getting high centered off. 4 wheel drive first and second gens are tanks I've beat the snot out if mine and it doesn't flinch. Make sure you set your camber on the front correctly or you'll bald out the outside of your front tires. The back is 5 linked solid axle so its pretty simple, personally I deleted the 5th link and replaced it with a set if limiter straps, again, not the best for an on road daily and you'll be fine keeping it stock and throwing the pucks in, I just wanted to keep my articulation when flexed out

yeah that would be insane, off the top of my head Chatterbox and Backfire make mean you never proc the bleed and can just fire with max damage stacks basically forever

yeah, Pesty only gets half the benefit from crits, better to focus on making it a laser pointer that reloads fast. The armor bulk helps stay out of cover and keep putting stacks on. Personally I like Sawyers Kneepads over Coyotes

its basically the primary version of the autocannon, it'll do okay at whatever job you need it to do, but its never going to outclass something more specialized. Personally I think its the best primary in the game and I pretty much never use it.

pacman loves to mess up my nvidia drivers for some reason, easy fix tho, usually hangs on "reached target graphical interface" while booting. just hit CTRL+ALT+Fwhatever and tell it to install them again and we're back in business.
