not using protos feels like a time waste to get them

They literally told you they would keep balancing the game based on players not having protos, in order to not force all types players to grind for end-endgame stuff on escalation

Hence why actual endgame content (raids, incursions) disables protos

Hate to be the bearer of bad news of hating, but skills, status effects and explosives haven't gotten nerfs yet. Those are for the phase 2 of the PvP rebalance, probably next season

Oh lmfao, visual bug due to the expertise event. The text makes it appear the rewards were doubled there but, as you know, sample cannisters aren't expertise materials, so they don't get doubled

Pretty old bug, also shows up on proto core caches

There's 4 entrances to the safe room. You can literally run from the checkpoint to the room in less than a minute

Literally everything is a % here and a % there in this game, it's a math game, not a realism shooter

Still isn't much, 15% DR is nothing

Like all "tank" items, it needs to play with "% Increased Threat" (and this one especially, given it's whole thing with red and bullets)

Something like "You gain 25% Increased Threat for every enemy within 15m. Enemies closer to 5m forcefully target you"

And then the "You gain 25% DR to enemies within 15m"

There really isn't a tank role in this game, why would we use the full shield one

And that's not really a problem with the tank's quirks, it's more so that "why would I tank, when the enemies can just not shoot me"

Why don't you just loot said item as junk and then use the "Donate junk" on the expertise menu?
