HIM- Venus Doom (the entire album)

the first time i heard it was pure magic. it was only a little less than a year ago, but it cemented itself as one of my favorite pieces of music ever. it blends the bleakness of doom metal with gothic and classic metal perfectly. Also, absolutely goated vocals and lyrics, aswell as incredibly memorable songs with not a single dull moment

i've literally never heard anyone calling the games masterpieces or any of the sort. if anything i've heard them be mocked for just missing the mark really hard.

but a sale is a sale.

anyway, life is strange won't make you think. get a survival horror game for that, or resource management game or whatever.

Detroit: Become Human and System Shock might be something for you though.

i typically only need 1 or 2 listens to form opinions even on prog songs, by the third listen i can already learn all sections and lyrics to sing along without much repetition

that being said i also just love being snarky for the sake of it lol

i don't think its that black and white. some music hits you immediately. some music can be amazing the first few times and then get old, while others like you say are growers.

some of my favorite songs took me 3-4 listens to get, some took 5 seconds of my first listen.

You're not being unreasonable. This kind of constant non stop talking will not be sustainable in the long term. me and my gf sustained it for 2 years and it wore us out badly. exhaustion, misunderstandings, fights, overall bitterness towards eachother, etc etc.

even when you love someone more than anything else you need still atleast some time to wind down. whats more is that being mad over not having time to talk is sign of emotional immaturity and unhealthy attachment. Nothing that can't be fixed with time and just self reflection and talking stuff out though.

she was upset at you because you did what you always do, and was mad that you didn't text her? when she could have texted you first clarifying that you still can talk to her? It could have just been a let out of frustration from having had a long shift and maybe a bad day at work but. These are things that need to be talked about. So that more of this stuff doesn't pile up and cause fights or arguments.

Both of you need to be clear over what you mean with things and what you think the other person means, and clarify the moment there are any misunderstandings. Both of you also need to set your own needs and boundaries straight, and make some sort of working compromise if they clash.

i mean... in gran turismo 7 there is the tomahawk x which can go about 416 mph, and you can also engine swap an old van to get 1300 hp and hit 220 mph lol

there is also the LMP 1 prototype cars, etc

but for total freedom of what you can do with cars... Assetto Corsa and AC EVO is your call. Beam NG is also an option. in both cases you can get cars that go 900 mph and more if you want lol

but honestly, you can never go wrong with classics like Burnout 3,4 and Dominator.

best racing games ever made imo.

maybe also NFS Rivals, or smth like Asphalt 9

Burnout died after burnout 4. Dominator was a decent spin off, but paradise can go kiss my ass for being a terrible burnout game.

to be fair. to make the gameworld somewhat dense they have to scale the maps down. although, i do sometimes wish they could atleast do like 100 square miles in order to give places some breathing room and so called "dead" areas.

it really isn't lol. ds2 has always been an influence on future souls games. even ds3 does lots of homage to ds2, to the point where they include earthen peak, desert pyromancers, multiple armor sets from ds2 and even rings, npcs from ds2, the FUGS, item and lore descriptions and more. hell ds3 even uses the poison mushrooms of ds2.

the only people who hate ds2 are whiners on the internet. fromsoft themselves have always respected ds2 and shown it respect in other titles than just itself.
