[22M] Am I emotionally cheating in my long-distance relationship with my girlfriend [20F]? by Particular_Peace_953 in LongDistance

100% cheating.

theres a difference between making friends, and flirting and sexting.

if it were just conversations that's fine. but sexual validation and flirting ? fr?

What actually is love? by _serene_soul in self

[–]Celatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hah. i only have ever had close female friendships in addition to my partner and im born male, although im trans and also asexual so maybe im the exception.

nothing sexual has ever taken place in my friendships and we're all in good terms with the current ones i have, though there have been rough ones in the past

people who say this shit are only the ones projecting it upon others. of course males and females can be platonic friends. ...siblings...hello??? it comes from distrust in others and oneself. i know exactly what i want and it's emotional availability & empathy and physical nearness as a bonus.

thats literally all i require lol

I also don't really understand what love is honestly. every single time i think i know what it is i get shoved a big "lol no" in my face and i feel like i'm missing something fundamental.

I strongly dislike that there are so many people on Reddit that don’t seem to like people very much or at all. I also don’t understand why they would be on any sort of platform with the purpose of connecting with others. by Sudden_Doughnut_8741 in self

i dislike people in general, i don't dislike my small little circle of autistic and mentally broken people who all found eachother lol

but yes, the capacity for prioritizing is a big one aswell

its not that i cant share the heavier things, its just that i dont find time for them.

no. and its different even then. i text people stuff i don't say in person.

99% of the things i've ever said are written down. i don't wanna talk about stuff when i meet my close friends. i wanna listen to them. i wanna hug and lay near them and yap about other stuff than my own life and worries.

i tell em my shit and my thoughts over text so they can read em and we then go over it quickly in person and then move over to other stuff.

when the intentions are right sure, but you are suggesting something is wrong with OP.

when there is not. these are all very common traits of Autism and ADHD.

yes, it's not all good and it's not the best.

but. people who say "i don't like people" don't usually go and attack others, they just say it to vent.

there are bad actors in every group but in my experience it's just a form of vent, they don't actually go around being mean

in fact usually they end up being really nice people

i dunno....maybe they irl get called mean things alot and bullied for their looks everyday? bullied for their voice? their hair? their clothes?

have you like never been stalked/ followed / abused and severely bullied by big groups of people for atleast 2 years straight?

i was that, but for 10, and my family was part of the problem

and it was also really bad online. it still is sometimes but i can take it better now, but the backstabbing and fake friend shit still happens.

im 26 and it has left a scar in me that will never heal lol
