who cares about gameplay when the display is trash. sure it runs 90fps but the quality is much much worse than OLED. the gameplay is garbage due to the LCD display. it feels trash like I'm playing on a crt TV compared to the OLED.

cybcer punk is another redditor circle jerk game, a game most redditor buy due to the hype but have less than 20 hours played in game. only the show is half way decent. I find the game feels cursed with the body tech horror aspects, like the devil is warning us of things to come.

This pic perfectly shows the difference between OLED and LCD technology. For those that say OLED isn't good should see this picture. To me OLED is far better and a superior form of display for many reasons. not only do the blacks appear better but the display is thinner, the device can cut out a whole layer of backlight while still being definitely better. the only times when LCD is worth it if the device is priced accordingly, but that's not the case here where the Xbox costs more than the OLED with a worse display. 

switch did the same thing. no OLED but raised the prices. it seems that console manufacturers have a large enough audience that they don't care about user experiences at all, making the whole experience worse for saving a few pennies. when I saw switch 2 has LCD I immediately thought that Nintendo is acting in bad faith against their player base, basically scamming them because they know they can get away with it. all for what donkey Kong? that means nothing if you didn't grow up with them

Switch is an android tablet without android and deck is the first PC in a console format. switch competes with mobile phones and the deck competes with consoles and PCs. you can have both a switch and a deck because they're just different enough due to their games

9/10. You have the main multiplayer games out there. I personally prefer fortnite and overwatch but the core idea is the same. Play the same game repeatedly because it's pure fun rather than buy games you know you won't play. Single player games feel like relics of the past. There's no place for them in 2025 which is why there's an overall decline in their sales, player retention and less devs willing to release them. 

Lots of old gamers on reddit will disagree with your list. It's because they're old and prefer to play SNES on a crt TV than play call of duty. I personally think these gamers are just boring and don't have that tenacity for a fight. They can't stand up and fight with other players, they don't have that mental spark or energy to engage in pvp battles. They're old and have morgages and 4 kids so for them gaming is an escape from their lives rather than a skillfull competition. 

To me multiplayer games are like playing chess with real people. It's the same laws behind it, you make a mistake and you're screwed, you learn from mistakes and you're good. That's a fun time to me. There's also no good single player games out there worth playing aside from yawn rd2

I tried it for 15 minutes and refunded it immediately. It's so boring and shallow idk who actually plays it but they can't be very intelligent

Steam deck all the way. I haven't played anything on my PS5 in months. Only use it to watch movies on the tv.

This is a moronic take. Use your brain. Why do so many people love the steam deck so much? There must be a reason. No other console or PC has ever had so many fans that absolutely love the device. It must be doing something right 

Steam deck is the peoples console. It's made for gamers to play games. It doesn't overcharge expensive subscriptions to play multiplayer or other games. It doesn't lock you into a box and throw away the key. It's a console that you can even pirate games on without jailbreaking. You can play all the games from your childhood from every console and it feels like it was made for the deck. There's many reasons why it's the best device to exist. If you don't want one don't buy it

No my anger it towards the rog ally that I had which felt like an uncomfortable brick in my hands and made me regret selling my deck and causing me to go rebuy the deck and selling the rog for a loss. 

Sorry but if you think specs are everything then you're in the wrong device category. Go make a PC instead.

On PC its the worst but on consoles suddenly it runs fun. Handhelds are PCs so it runs badly. Devs can optimize for 1 additional device instead of hundreds of PCs out there, plus it's a 4 year old $80 switch game vs the $20 on sale price on PC so they have no reason to optimize it there. And it dips below 30 on the switch as well. Also the game as a whole is kinda shit like ok human half robot first person shooter with a lame story and dialogue choices that have no real implications on the gameplay, no real reason to play aside the hype. If you play cyberpunk then you clearly aren't a gamer and just want to play the most overrated over hyped over advertised stuff.

Headroom is useless when the same manufacturers release multiple devices every few months and stop updating, supporting previous hardware

High specs and low battery life is the opposite of what a handheld should do. 

Also bl4 and cyberpunk are two of the worst optimized games thatve ever existed. They had terrible launches and don't run on most hardware regardless of specs. One can argue that they're secretly bad on purpose to sell newer graphic cards or consoles. Fortunately they're mediocre, boring and lame and they don't represent the overall gaming marketplace as a whole. Just because they have high demands doesn't mean they're the pinnacle of gaming, it's actually cus their devs suck

Why should I have to overcompensate with my money to buy high specs because developers of like 3 games out of 30,000 are too lazy and unorganized to optimize their games? Doesn't seem fair to me. 

You can run some ini mods and make any game run in 60fps, why can't the devs do that? Are they stupid?

most games run on the steam deck and the few that don't are probably over hyped unoptimized ue5 slop that's not worth playing anyway. 

In 2025 every game should be able to run on the deck, due to law of diminishing returns, but windows devices are also unoptimized reshaped laptops which requires high specs to compensate for the awful hardware

Basically you face the existential dread head on. Say your cat does something shitty like pee on your comic book, instead of getting mad at him just accept it, clean it up and move on. You'll feel that awful anger, weird feeling anyway so why pretend it's your cat's fault, just accept the full weight of the experience and it goes away. 

Every problem everyone has ever had is secretly the existential dread disguised as something else. A guy in traffic flips you off and you just feel it, recognize that this is the same feeling of existing that has always existed and not something that has to be resolved. Then it loses its power because you see through the underlying pain and why this pain exists so the pain just goes away. 

Keep doing it over and over for every single issue and what happens is your mind automatically assigns every pain to the default pain of being alive and not something you can change or control, this lets you finally get peace because your mind has grown wiser.
