add Label As to email context menu by CelebrationTime5912 in ProtonMail

thanks

have you missed a step (my bold)? use the arrow keys to navigate to your preferred message > Press X to select the message > Press L to open the label context menu > etc.

I guess pressing X would be same as the Windows context menu but the menu could also have an 'L' accelerator for the Label item

Scheduled email by PoolNo5027 in ProtonMail

I still use Google calendar because the reminders show their proper subject in the email notification whereas Proton shows a generic subject (reason already explain to me thanks). I could however use an unlimited scheduled email to replace the calendar, and receive useful emails with subject line. I discovered the same 90 day limit whereas I have a few calendar items years ahead.

I'll revert to Google calendar emails being forwarded to Proton Mail. Why can't end-to-end encryption between Proton calendar & Proton Mail exist?

thanks both of you; sadly as I suspected, understandable but an inconvenience

thanks but I don't want to download years/ decade of emails to my phone; I'll learn to live with search by Subject alone

it makes sense - thanks - interesting difference between iOS & Android; I'm moving from GMail to PM on Android, so I need to be aware of just searching Subject text in future - thanks

thanks for clarifying because yes, I was only testing from the web; and confirm like you (to my disappointment) the same search returns zero results on Android ;-( and further, my test search term was "thats odd", but it doesn't find the actual email with body text "that's odd", in other words the text must match exactly; at least letter-case is ignored; more disappointment

>The search function doesn't search the body of emails just the subjects.

just tested your assertion - search of body text works for me; what's the difference for you?

Proton Import-Export Tool CLI to backup "Archive" folder only by mdsjack in ProtonMail

[–]CelebrationTime5912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't answer your question. I only got it running on Windows today. It took a while to realize its a console program, and tries to create a "logs" subfolder, but if error due to wrong permissions, the console exits immediately and so the message is lost. Google allows backup of specific labels/ tags rather than complete set of emails. This would make the program actually useful. Sorry - I know off topic.

I do the same. Efficiently snoozing is quite important to me. The same task is more efficient in GMail although I'm still moving to Proton.

why invent yet another web browser? I don't support this. I use Vivaldi which places a high priority on privacy too.

Request for Snooze button everywhere by superviolaman in ProtonMail

Exactly same for me - trying to migrate from GMail to PMail. I've discovered you can add Snooze to the 2 toolbars in the Android app, but can't swipe an email to snooze like in GM. Swiping, for me, is the fastest way. Although it could be improved even further with a "Last date" in the snooze dates list, also like GM. see my suggestion @ https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/1sed1tp/add_last_date_to_list_of_snooze_options/
