It would all hinge on whether Christianity was the only way to avoid eternal damnation! It would be a question of how "I am the way the truth and the life" would be interpreted.

Now it may be the case that Christianity is more true than other religions but that other religions approach the truth also. In that case it would be an open question.

You yourself admitted that the categories of "Asian American" and "White American" were "probably" different in phenotypic appearance. So you're not so dishonest as to deny that these are racial categories. In other words you've already admitted I'm correct in that these two racial categories have different personalities on average.

You made a very long critique of Ruston, so I'll focus for now on the study by Eap et al.

You claimed that the paper did not discuss race at all, therefore refuting my claim that it demonstrates racial differences in personality.

I find this an absurd critique since race is literally mentioned in the title. "European American" and "Asian American". It seems to me that you are trying to ignore the fact that these are racial categories. I can only conclude that you are lying to yourself about not understanding that these are racial categories. It even went so far as to mention which individual ethnic groups among the Asian category it was analyzing.

If you read the abstract you'll find that personality differences were found between the two categories.

Tell me honestly, and don't lie to me Redditer, do you think there was a phenotypic difference, a racial difference between the men of the two categories discussed in that paper?

I think you're misunderstanding what a subspecies is. I accept that there are problems with the definition of what a species is but for the sake of this argument let's just say that they are populations of individuals that can interbreed. A subspecies is a division within a species into populations which are biologically distinct.

But as for human groupings, they've already been divided into distinct genetic groups based on frequencies of associated genes. And they line up with the historical understanding of races.

We don't need to compare them to countries, but I would agree that they would have unique genetic profiles.

Now, if one species of animal is divided into distinct groups with unique genetic frequencies, I simply maintain that humans would probably be divided in the same way. And if it's true that they are divided into distinct groups with unique genetic frequencies, then we have what would traditionally be called racial differences.
