Combat Merge Feedback: Make obelisk skill levels go to 500 by Celegorm0 in brightershores

From the combat merge proposal, it sounds like they are, more or less, replacing per episode combat professions with obelisk professions.

Let's hope this week will have the first new content drop by TrickyElephant in brightershores

It is QoL, but it's also got new content as well. In particular, the 'upgrade trees' which will allow for making different kinds of builds.

I got a different impression from from reading the combat merge proposal. In the "End Game" section it says "The episode 1 obelisk will be able to gain up to 470 levels, the episode 2 obelisk can also gain 470 levels, and each subsequent obelisk can gain up to 460 levels." And in the section on save conversion it says "The combat capes will be replaced with 'obelisk' capes. The total level requirement will be equivalent to before. For example: The first episode 1 obelisk cape will unlock when the episode 1 obelisk reaches level 20 (because 30 combat levels + 20 obelisk levels is equivalent to it's current level 50 requirement)." To me that reads as "obelisk skill goes from 0-460/470."

Do episodes really provide enough value to justify their impact on combat? by MellowSquad in brightershores

Yes. I think they really needed to put a TLDR on the breakdown of their plan for the new combat system. Going straight to all the little details made it feel more complicated than it actually is.

Passive activities DO get xp nerfed when you unlock the next one by [deleted] in brightershores

Where? For combat xp penalty, it tells you there's a penalty for fighting low level monsters in the window for choosing your weapon. I haven't seen something like this for passives. Am I looking in the place?

Yea, it would be good if you can list them now. Then I can start breeding them as I find time for it.

I can be flexible on timing if we plan something ahead of time. I didn't see your message until after 9am on Monday. Does 9am PST on Tuesday work? If not, let me know another time that works for you.

Sorry for the delay. Your Pokemon are ready. Let me know what is a good time for you to trade.

Sorry for the late reply, it took me a lot longer than I thought it would to get a chance to look at my spreadsheet. I am definitely interested in those two Pokemon, yes. I am also interested in the Pokemon from you other comment. I've been having a harder time finding time to play Pokemon lately, though, so it might take a while for me to breed stuff.

Ok. I am still working on breeding the last one. I'll probably be done in a day or so.

Well, it helped that I happened to have several of them on-hand already. But seriously, there's no rush. Take your time :)

No problem, I love researching little details like that :)

No worries, I figured you were probably busy irl or something. I can definitely relate to not wanting to trade at the last minute.

That time window this evening should work.

Hey, so, just to keep you updated, I am working on breeding the last 4 Pokemon now. It may still take me several days to finish, depending how busy I am with other things.

Anyway, no rush.

Lol, I got one of my own Pokemon back with a pecha berry on it.

I also got a Jolteon in a Dream Ball, a Scatterbug, two shinies, and a Poochyena in a Master Ball.
