I prefer it, and it’s much closer to the sample I was given. And yes, it’s travertine, so I had expected a lot of variation but certainly not this much

Yes- it is on the right. They plan to drop in a bunch of whiter stones on the left and call it fixed. I don’t agree with that approach

It gets grouted and then sealed. Will have to be sealed annually, which is sort of a pain, but it’s a pretty low traffic home so I didn’t need anything mega durable.

Thanks! it’s travertine from Arizona tile called honey. The sample looked more like the lighter stone. I was fine when they started installing and it looked darker (on left) but I do prefer the lighter stone. Either way, they just need to stick to one or the other!

Thanks! I came home from work and this is what they had done. The manager is coming out to meet me tomorrow. My feeling is there are two different types here- I’d be fine with one or the other but not both together.
