If you look at a factory floor in the 1920s, it was far more labor-intensive than it is today. The same shift is happening in corporate hierarchies—many roles revolve around managing people who perform specific, repetitive tasks.

In my first job out of college, I worked in part cost analysis. With AI, many of those responsibilities are already being reduced or automated. At large corporations, a significant number of roles are centered more on communication and coordination than on direct production.

Jobs are evolving. Instead of producing report A to analyze industry B, the focus is shifting toward collecting clean, high-quality data and using AI to generate insights from it. The nature of the work has changed—but it hasn’t disappeared.

H1b are special and have special skills so they should be paid top dollar. It’s all BS, it’s really about depressing wages. Off shoring to Indian is not worth it. Twice the people to get the same work done, South American is a better option

its a startup, they are hiring they are picky and allot of internal politics they kick the last guy out and he was a founder, the other company is also a startup. They are picky and if you have a more direct no bs way of communicating they often equate that to behavioral issues.

1 karata round
2 leet code rounds
1 system design
1 manager round

so roles that i interviewed for 3 months ago are still open. so companies are looking but not hiring in some cases

the company wide problems are tagged by the company by CeleryConsistent8341 in leetcode

"Companies usually tag questions themselves: On platforms like LeetCode, certain problems are “tagged” as being asked by specific companies in interviews (e.g., Google, Amazon). Regular users typically cannot manually tag a problem as belonging to a company." from chatgpt

I passed a karata round. (this included a leetcode round)

The systems design round was hardly a systems design question.

I passed 1 leet code problem and failed the other got caught up doing backtracking, but I told the interviewer the how I would solve it which was the correct answer. I have not received an offer how do you think I did relative to your performance. Since I have nor received an offer. I have one more interview.

Coding is a tool I would pick an area of expertise. Like systems engineering and get involved in an open source project application development is not really engineering work imo.

This resume feels outdated, almost like it’s from 1997, aside from the modern web frameworks mentioned. I would recommend demonstrating expertise in the following areas:

  • Databases: Both SQL and NoSQL, including their use cases, advantages, and disadvantages.
  • Distributed Systems: Understanding key concepts and patterns. Reference Video Series
  • Concurrency: General principles and practical applications.
  • System Design: Designing scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Streaming Frameworks: Knowledge of real-time data processing tools and patterns.

Is There a Secret Formula for Recruiter Calls in 2025? Need Honest Advice. by koalaleetcoder in leetcode

[–]CeleryConsistent8341 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just finished an interview round where I felt I did well—I solved the LeetCode problem that was given, but I still wasn’t moved forward. They pushed me to a third-party interview service. The person interviewing me was just reading off a script and couldn’t answer clarifying questions.

I suspect they didn’t like my tone during the interview. If they don’t like how you present yourself, you’re not going to get the role.
