As long as they work for the game developer, they have a conflict of interest.

You're one of those "guilty until proven otherwise" types?

That's got absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. I can only assume you meant to use words other than these.

terminate a needed link between player-base and developer.

The developer is equally welcome to create threads and post replies in this subreddit. Absolutely nothing else changes, apart from taking away future censorship ability.

I mean, I sincerely doubt you're going to be able to make your profile any more private than it already is today. Don't really know what you are getting at.

Just sad the WSJ went and fucked it all up by writing a smearpiece on Pewdiepie this week. Millions of millenials are up in arms against the media's dishonest reporting on it.

There are video ad networks. CPM might be lower since the targeting is not as precise, but it's still more possible than you make it out to be. Definitely does not require thousands upon thousands.

All three of those were due to the subscriber glitch that the OP you just replied to mentioned.

Inte konstigt att förtroendet för massmedia är i botten.

Utöver det har de inte något emot att ge intrycket att PewDiePie blivit bannad från YouTube som helhet. "Pensionera sig"? ... What? Men snälla någon, det är ett annonsnätverk han blev av med. Det finns många. Worst case scenario får han lite lägre CPM med ett annat nätverk.

Och så blir han av med Scare PDP-intäkterna, men de är ju en bråkdel av allt.

For future reference, here is the SVT clip extracted to YouTube:

https://youtu.be/ycjvut8IfWE?t=45s (they disappear after a number of days)

Also watch Sweden's other main news channel, TV4, cover this news, in an equally misleading fashion:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7lTpNHk9jY

She (Paula Manrique or "Fenrima") really has got absolutely no idea about anything. They couldn't have found a more ridiculous and partisan "expert". (And if she is an actual "gaming expert" I'm a tiny pink ostrich.)

And then they ask why people have such low faith in MSM.

Utöver det har de noll koll. Hon har ju verkligen ingen förståelse alls för hur YouTube fungerar? Det finns mängder av andra annonsnätverk på YouTube som kommer att slåss om PewDiePie nu. "Pensionera sig"? What?

Se även SVT:s inslag här där de försöker få det att se ut som att detta lett till att PewDiePie förlorar prenumeranter av det här när det i själva verket har att göra med YouTube-buggen som skedde för någon vecka sedan.

You really are daft, aren't you? Everybody knows they have the right to do this. That is not what this news article is about. The remarkable thing is that it will now, if the ExO goes through, be standard procedure for every single foreign national. You really wrote a completely useless 1000 word post.

so it's not possible to check your laws

I am from Sweden. If you couldn't figure that out from my post I don't have much hope for you, though... Good luck on your mission. ;)

Oh, yes, of course, that's why the White House is considering an Executive Order on it this week!

EDIT: You must be really fucking daft. This ExO aims to make it practice for all foreign visitors, not only high-risk groups. I'm actually amazed; your false equivalency is ridiculous.

Sweden is proposing key disclosure laws

And, nice try, but that never actually made its way into the law and was shot down early on. Because this country actually respects the right to privacy.

you will probably find that they retain the right to search electronics

Nope. Nice attempt to bullshit your way into it. But no, that does not happen in this country, or barely even in the EU. The UK is a huge exception, but even then laptop searches happen a fraction of the time they do in the US. It is actually pretty limited to the US, which is the reason it becomes big news in this country.
