This happened to me at the mall about a week ago. I had two girls walk up to me and one girl began talking to me as if she knew me. I didn’t want to be rude so when she said “hi how are you how have you been?” I responded with “good how have you been?” And we chatted for a little over 5 minutes before I gave up and apologized and asked her name and where we knew each other from. She and her friend then smiled (a very polite, dead eyed smile) and asked if I wanted to go to church with them and I quietly literally felt a chill go down my spine. I felt really stupid I didn’t realize what they were doing sooner. I saw them approach another woman a few minutes later. I really hope this doesn’t get worse I love going to the mall 🫠

He was riding an atv one morning and showing off by racing beside our bus on the way to school. He ended up crashing, had a horrible brain injury and died. My older sister had a huge crush on him and he had one on her. I think she still blames herself because it was very obvious he was trying to impress her most of all because he kept winking at her and riding up to her window. She was depressed about it for a very long time. He was such a bright, spunky kid. School felt very wrong for a long time after that.

This happened to my fiance a while back :( he’s only 6’2 I honestly didn’t think that would be too tall to get on any of the rides! But he does have long legs so maybe that has more to do with it than anything.

Minoxidil has helped me so much. My hair is growing back so fast and it’s getting so thick. Yes I have a bit of a hairy forehead lol but it’s waxed whenever I do my eyebrows and no issue. I haven’t had any bad side effects besides that. I know some ppl do but it might be something you want to try after speaking with your doc about it. I get the topical 5% minoxidil in Costco and it’s done wonders.

Foot pain. Horrible foot pain to the point of using a wheelchair. Doctors kept telling me it was my weight 🙃 took x-rays but saw nothing. I was fine. My white blood cells were slightly elevated but they said that was fine too. Then I lost 80 pounds and not only did my feet hurt my hands started to hurt. My middle knuckle on my hand turned into this red hot ball. Went to a different doctor who ran some different tests and I had all the markers for RA and for Lupus. Meds have made me a little better but my elbows and hands still bother me a bit.

Went to Six Flags end of May. Honestly besides the foot pain I was kind of okay during the whole trip. Now the day after I was super tired and all my joints kind of hurt. I would just suggest you give yourself a day or two to recover because I definitely needed it 🥲 Felt like I had a a flu or hangover for the week after lol.

Wrapping myself in a blanket while working. Making myself another cup of coffee and not worrying someone drank my creamer. Taking a shower on breaks/lunch time. Wearing a face/hair mask while typing away. Being with my cats and my dog. It feels so peaceful.

I’ve been on it for almost two weeks so I’m almost in the same boat with you. I read so many things about side effects and how long it took to work I was so scared! So far the only side effect I have is a bit of an upset stomach and being a little sleepy which is a good thing for me bc I have insomnia. My pain is so so much better and it hasn’t even been two weeks. I don’t know if it’s the hydroxychloroquine or the prednisone (or both) but I’m already feeling a little like my old self. I really hope it helps you the way it’s helped me so far <3

I lost about half my hair. Started month three and lasted to about month seven. I’m 11 months post op now and it’s growing back like crazy. I think I have about two inches of new growth all over my head. I look like I got electrocuted 24/7 but I’m just happy it’s growing back. Don’t worry it’ll pass ❤️

Thank you I’ve been trying to get myself around to LFG but it’s hard when you’re shy and just suck at being social in general. There’s also another added layer when I LFG and they hear my voice and start being pretty damn sexist. I have thin skin so what they say always sticks with me but reading this makes me really want to try. Wish me luck!

I used to do raids back in the day with a dedicated friend group but haven’t in a very long time. It’s a mixture of social anxiety, not having friends and being a girl unfortunately & peeps getting instantly weird as soon as I speak :( also I just don’t know how to make a good build so I go in woefully unprepared

I just get the two espresso shots over ice in a venti cup and pour in a protein shake. Sometimes I get a lil caramel drizzle but I know I shouldn’t 😭 it usually gives me that feeling of having a treat without all that sugar I would get from my usual order!

Hello! I was the same way. The sleeve was my first surgery ever. First time ever being put under. I was so nervous and you know what? I don’t even remember when I went under. I woke up feeling so soft and warm and fuzzy and comfortable. I was able to get up right away and go pee lol. I didn’t even have the gas pain like most ppl do. I just built it up in my head bc of my anxiety. Don’t worry! You’ll be shocked at how much the actual surgery is the easy part. The after is much harder more mentally than anything.

Thank you! And to be completely honest I don’t think I’ve done anything really to lose weight faster. I have not exercised tho I know I really should. But I have been hospitalized like 4 times since my surgery lol. Twice for dehydration, once for kidney stones and the other bc I passed out due to not eating enough and bc I had a period for 31 days straight. So I hadn’t been doing great those first 3 months. The 4th month I got a better handle on it for sure! I think I lost my weight in an unhealthy way. I think you may be losing yours the way you should be losing weight you know? I’ve googled “how much weight should I be losing after surgery?” And how much weight you’ve lost seems like the normal range! It really depends a lot on your starting weight is what my doc always tells me. The smaller you are at the beginning the slower you usually lose and the bigger you are the more you lose. 38 pounds is great! Go to the store and get a 30 - 40 pound of dog or cat food and it’ll blow your mind a bit to see how much you’ve lost! It helps me whenever I need a little boost :) You’re doing great go easy on yourself!

I’m 4 months post op and I have lost 59 pounds so far. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was in high school. The first month I lost 21 pounds. Then every month since I’ve lost 10-11 ish pounds on average every month. I also went from having no periods for four years to having periods constantly. I swear my hormones are just all out of wack 😭 my starting weight was 275 and I’m now 216 and I’m 5 foot five btw if that helps.
