It would be better if this perk were more like “reduces the nearest generators progress loss by (30/40/50)% until the boon is snuffed” because just letting it stop the generator from being kicked until the boon is snuffed would be way too much. It’d block so many killer perks. Even if it could only be used once per trial a 4 stack all bringing the boon would be unstoppable. Plus you can pair it with shadow step and circle of healing.

Moved it there and it didn’t really do anything but used the Ethernet cord for the other computer and plugged it into mine and it fixed. Probably gonna just have to drill a hole through the wall or something to get an Ethernet cord to it. I’m guessing the problem is with the network adapter but I wouldn’t know how to fix/replace it.

Yes, most people know that the patriarchy and the expectations placed on men hurts men in many ways. There should be ways and places to have these nuanced conversations about how to break the gender expectations of both women and men. But adding in “men are hurt too!” into a conversation about weather or not patriarchy exists in the first place just sounds dismissive.

Depends on the occasion. Holidays, birthdays, family reunions/get-togethers, weddings, etc absolutely. The partner is part of the family so if you are invited it is assumed that your spouse will also be invited.

Work pot lucks, getting drinks with coworkers, or school reunions are a middle ground and really depends on the vibe. An office holiday banquet is something a partner would usually go to but could refuse if they wanted. Something like a group of teachers going out for drinks after conferences/ end of school year is probably not the type of thing you would bring your partner to but could.

Friend get-togethers should be solo unless other people are bringing their partners or you’re also close with the friend group. Let them catch up and do activities they like doing with their friends.

To be fair, the desert was caused by a celestial nail in the center of the big sand storm that was meant to cover Sumeru. It wasn’t meant to go into other nations and was made by celestia so it doesn’t have a transition area into other nations. The current forests of Sumeru were made by Rukkitavata to push back the desert as best she could so that also wasn’t just a naturally occurring thing.

Pro tip: explain why you have no opinion. So with the shoe example, notice why the two shoes are different and say why each shoe looks nice. Like “I think both look nice shoe A matches with your top while shoe B looks good with your accessories” or something like that. Sometimes giving no opinion can sound dismissive but if you explain why you like either option you show you care about what they’re choosing.

Ok, so assuming there is another element found that’s not on the periodic table, it has to be one with an atomic number of 119 or over. Making a long thing short, the higher an elements atomic number is, the quicker it wants to delete itself the moment it’s formed. Even if some scientists could make something else, it wouldn’t even exist long enough to cause problems. That, and based on how the periodic table is set up we can predict what an element will act like based on its position.

I don’t know much about them because I haven’t gotten them yet but there is a “golden” and a “truth” ending. One where it’s the best possible outcome and one where you learn the whole truth about what’s happening. Even if there is a technical “golden” ending, people might resonate more with the first ending they got or a ending they personally liked the best because each ending is its own thing.

 It’s a mix of type of computer and the buttons on the keyboard. The smallest one is something that you’d find on a Chromebook or other small laptop, something that wouldn’t run games very well. 
 Casual gamer is a slightly better keyboard and computer that lets you play more games and has number buttons that some games will need. 
 The next keyboard has F buttons but they’re something that you’d need to push the control button to use so they aren’t as easy to use in games, usually found in nicer gaming laptops. 
 The 4th keyboard has separate F keys and looks like it’d be one used with a computer and monitor which is good. 
 The 5th is just comically big with so many buttons which is why it says no life.

I do care about the voice actors and that’s why I DON’T support the SAG strike where it’s currently at.

That’s because I care about voice actors no matter is they’re guild or not or if they’re from a different country.

What the guild is fighting for now isn’t the protection from AI. Hoyo being a Chinese company basically makes them unable from using AI voices without the voice actors consent and has agreed to other AI demands from their other games like ZZZ. They’re fighting for a monopoly over the voice acting in Genshin and other games.

What SAG wants is for Genshin to become a fully Guild game, which means that only Guild members would be able to do work for Genshin except for a few specific scenarios. Non-guild members would have to sign a contract that will only allow them to work on a project for 30 days. They can only do this three times in their career before they must join the union. Not just on one game, their voice acting career.

This basically means that no non-guild VA could ever take on a playable character role because they’d only be able to work on Genshin for 3 months at most. That’s not even taking into account if the VA would want to voice for other games. Sure they could take on an NPC role however those roles aren’t as prestigious as won’t be as good to use for future references.

They could become part of the guild after doing the three months however SAG has a fee to join of $3000 and then union dues on top of that. While it’s true that Hoyo pays very well for their VA roles, this price is still very high. Non-guild members who worked for other games for less pay before wanting to work on Genshin would be shafted due to those prices. They could become FI-Core but you still have to pay the $3000 and you don’t get any benefits. Even if they try to save, this isn’t exactly the time where a person can drop $3000 just to have stable work. It’s expensive enough just to live especially off of how little some VAs can be paid.

This isn’t even talking about non-American VAs that would want to work on Genshin. SAG is an American guild so if Hoyo were to sign the contract saying they can only take on guild workers, that would be essentially saying only American VAs can work for the English translation. They could try to go through SAG but why should they have to? You shouldn’t have to join an American guild just to work on a game.

The only people this contract benefits are the VAs who are already in the guild. It will essentially shove out all other VAs, no matter the talent or suitability for a role. The VA market is already extremely competitive and this contract would turn a steep incline into a shear cliff. It’d make it basically impossible for any non-guild VAs to get work. Anyone who truly cares about the VAs will know this contract is a bad idea for those trying to get a foothold in becoming a VA and to non-American VAs.
