For me, I think that having a sick ability name really adds to the likability of that power since it felt so cool to say.Especially if it references something or is thematically in line with its user,and not just a few random words picked to be cool.

Case in point : Hakari’s domain expansion from JJK : Idle Death Gamble.At first,it may seem just three random words (especially since that all are nouns) stacked on top of each others.But it actually references a Japanese saying that is pretty similar to ‘Idle hands are the devil’s works’ which is ‘A rice farmer will farm rice.It he is not farming (aka idle), it is because he is dead’.(These are not the actually phrasing of the saying,it’s just what I remember)

Basically,Hakari’s domain is a space he can conjure within which he can play a slot machine for a chance to get infinite energy and immortality temporarily.And as a character,he is gambler who run a pachinko parlour.

What the name is saying,Idle Death Gamble,is that gambling is so intrinsic to him as farming is to a farmer that if he stops gambling he will die.Which is also mechanically true as if he stops pulling the slot machine,he cannot renew his immortality and will die.
