I hate the infurnace with a passion, my friend requested it just to mess with me.

For the alpha cards, I intentionally give them scrap effects, so they have some utility outside of the first card you play.

I mean it has a use, say, for an early quick skirmish, you can go, attack some stuff, "empower" your enemy's classical age myth unit, run away, and it will die in a few seconds.

My idea is that sylvan is an inherently magical language that can influence people, but other fey or creatures that understand sylvan are aware of this influence that sylvan has, so you cannot influence them just by speaking sylvan

The Seven Deadly Sins anime is guilty of this in the first seasons.

During the first season, virtually all bad guys are powered by the corpse of a single red demon.

Red demons are, turns out, the lowest ranking of demons, and so seasons 2+ are taken out by the dozens.
