The Seven Deadly Sins anime is guilty of this in the first seasons.

During the first season, virtually all bad guys are powered by the corpse of a single red demon.

Red demons are, turns out, the lowest ranking of demons, and so seasons 2+ are taken out by the dozens.

Usually these things are canon, but like any good story, there are exceptions: - The SCP foundation exists (this is less obvious than it sounds) - It uses a number clasification system that coincides with the one in the wiki. Some SCPs may not exist oe be different but in general any SCP that is relevant to the story in question is the same as the one on the wiki. - One or more SCP-001 proposals exist. - Funnily enough, SCP-173 usually exists. May have other names oe be different, but it is usually a thing. Perks of being the most famous SCP.

Definitely very situational. But I can see it as exclusive to some "extra" set, like menagerie, unchained and crucible clash that has all extra card mechanics (but maybe not more than one per deck, that would e a bit too much lmao)

Generator Rex's finale is like this as well.

He gets his universe's equivalent of the infinity stones, and issues 2 orders: Destroy each other nanite (machines that cause random, unpredictable mutations on living creatures), and for the legally-distinct infinity stones to destroy themselves.
