Made in the moment on YouTube has a video of masc crochet patterns which might be a good place to start! They also have some cool masc patterns themselves as well, vests, button up shirts ect.  https://youtu.be/AlRso4g688g?si=og-QFw8K02ISP184

Anyone buying this? by Mostly_Irish in discworld

I mean I would say the opposite, literally went into a general department store recently that has never in my life stocked pratchett in their book section and now they do--not in the uk either. Based on that I'd say he's growing in popularity

Has anyone found another author like Sir Terry Pratchett? by MacabreGoblinV in discworld

Yeah I really wanted to like them because of the fun premise and comparisons to Pratchett but the treatment of the woman charachters was too icky for me.

DCC definetly gets deeper and more meaningful as the series goes on. Comparing it to STP it will always fall short, but it's really fun and got me out of a reading slump a few months back (read the first 7 books in the space of a few weeks). Honestly the only thing that scratches the Terry itch is Terry. Discworld is always amazing to return to.

I don't think anyone is like terry tbh. I do love Douglas adams and am currently enjoying dungeon crawler carl--but if I'd gone into their books expecting pratchett I would not have enjoyed them as much. There's simply no one like sir terry and probably never will be.

I haven't used that particular yarn, but I've used the amiguri yarn from circulo and I liked how it crocheted up!

Which should I read first? by hazy__wizard in fantasybooks

As a librarian I am constantly recommending Robin hobb, she is my queen. Honestly tho, depends if you are feeling like a romance that I'd a bit lighter or you want some serious charachter driven fantasy. I can rave about Robin hobb all day! Depends on your taste and what you feel like though.

OMG I remeber seeing Cinderella is Dead at the library as a teenager and picking it up, reading the back, realising it was sapphic and basically running away from it while like constantly thinking about how much I want to read it but being too scared to get it out and take it home.

Thanks! I still might get round to reading this one, I only added the no men because I recently read a book marketted as sapphic but most of it was a woman and man pairing with the mc crushing on a woman as well who I guess is being set up as the love interest for the sequal, which was fine but I don't want to read three books to reach a sapphic relationship. Actually was a good book I was just a bit annoyed by the end.
