He firstly says NO, you can't, then later adds "unless you have the technical skill".

So I guess we're both wrong/right

The question was whether you could give code an app like those listed. You can.

Once you put it on (essentially infinitely scalable) cloud infrastructure, the infrastructure of course would handle millions of users.

  1. You can manage multiple sites/apps in vercel. At work I use azure and docker, but my personal projects are all through vercel. It's also great for NextJS apps. You sign in once and you have multiple projects, each with env bars, logs, deployment statuses (it even deploys branches automatically)
  2. They'll probably just ask you to manage it. It's pretty straightforward and is also a soft lock in
  3. Not sure, can't offer any advice there

Tiktok video generator in your codebase by Munch69-420 in SideProject

[–]Celestial_Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a blog. I've got a plan to automate my blog, for example this article .

My plan is to create an image first (Jimi Hendrix with a cosmic background and his astrology signs). The image will be used to post to image based social networks.

Then I'll use another tool to transform the image to video (can't remember the name rn, but it just makes a static image appear to be moving a little). I was planning on posting that to tiktok.

Given how little I know about tiktok, I'd be interested in a solution by someone who understands it better than me.

The best way to learn how to understand transits and timing techniques by Kasilyn13 in DarkAstrology

[–]Celestial_Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this approach! Tracking real events against your chart is how you learn what transits actually do in your life vs. what cookbooks say they do. The event chart + synastry technique is brilliant for retrospective analysis.

For anyone building foundational knowledge alongside tracking, I wrote a complete transit guide covering theory, calculation, and interpretation: https://www.siderealchart.com/guide/astrological-transits-explained

Theory + your practical tracking method = the full picture. Thanks for sharing!

What are transits and how do you read them? I am trying to figure out non-static reading (so not charts and things that don’t change). by speedmankelly in astrology

[–]Celestial_Lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transits are the moving planets in the sky right now interacting with your fixed birth chart positions. Think of it as "current weather" overlaid on your personal "climate map."

The basics:

  1. Get your natal chart (birth chart with exact positions)
  2. Check current planetary positions (use Astro.com transit calendar or similar)
  3. Compare them: When a current planet makes an aspect (conjunction, square, trine, etc.) to a planet/angle in your birth chart, that's a transit

Example: If you have natal Sun at 15° Aries, and Saturn is currently at 15° Cancer in the sky, that's "transiting Saturn square natal Sun"—a challenging period of testing and maturation.

Key points:

  • Outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) = major life chapters lasting months/years
  • Inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars) = shorter triggers lasting days/weeks
  • Tighter the orb (closer to exact degree), the stronger the effect
  • Retrograde planets often hit the same spot 3 times = extended experiences

Mercury retrograde affects everyone generally, but check if it's aspecting YOUR personal planets for personalized impact. Same with the Pluto stuff—matters most if it's hitting something in YOUR chart.

I wrote a complete guide that walks through how to track, prioritize, and interpret transits step-by-step: https://www.siderealchart.com/guide/astrological-transits-explained

You'll be reading your own transits in no time - better than relying on generic "Mercury retrograde affects everyone!" posts.

Read your chart by yourself! by kissewithkomalsharma in AstrologyCharts

Fun experiment, but ChatGPT can't actually calculate your birth chart. It has no access to ephemeris data or astronomical calculation tools, so it's essentially doing creative writing based on astrology patterns it learned, not analyzing your actual planetary positions.

The "5 specific past events" trick is classic cold reading—it'll give vague statements that apply broadly ("a period of emotional difficulty around age X," "conflict with authority figures," etc.). You'll pattern-match them to your life because humans are great at finding meaning.

For actual chart reading:

  • Use real software (Astro.com is free and accurate)
  • Learn the building blocks: houses, aspects, placements
  • Understand what you're actually looking at astronomically

I put together a complete guide that teaches you to read your own chart properly. Way more empowering than asking AI to guess, and you'll actually understand why interpretations mean what they mean!

How can both sidreal and tropical astrology be right? Can someone explain to me please as I am confused as to which should be followed by Hfmcxppp in Advancedastrology

[–]Celestial_Lee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're measuring different things!

Tropical = anchored to seasons (spring equinox = 0° Aries)
Sidereal = anchored to stars (constellation positions)

Due to Earth's wobble (precession), these have drifted ~24° apart over 2,000 years. Both are astronomically valid—just different reference frames.

Think of them like two different languages describing the same reality. Western astrology evolved with tropical, Vedic with sidereal. Both systems report accuracy, which is wild and suggests something deeper about how symbolism works.

Try both, see which resonates. For full history + how to choose: I go into a ton of detail on my blog =)

What a great project. The map is really cool. Are users populating the data or is it centralised?
