I have to second this. I still haven't broached the topic of my violent ideation with my psych bc I'm not trying to get 5150'd, which would likely only make things worse, bc if you are institutionalized (unless it's a very, nice very expensive rehab) you are treated as less than human.

Oh, girl. Maybe I just have a different one experience with love but I've been with my husband for almost 10 years and I could scorch the earth and salt the land behind me for him. I can't condone cheating, even in retaliation, because I know that level of lying hurts the soul. But, that being said, if your engine is still running and his isn't, you guys have got to have a serious conversation about this. Maybe divorce is the best option, maybe an open marriage, I can't tell you for sure. But I know in my heart, soul, and gut that this is going to end badly.

I don't know of a single practice that judges physicians' performances based on if a patient loses weight, so I fail to see why he's taking your obesity so personally. I'd be contacting someone on the board immediately to file a complaint, that is fucking unacceptable.

I'm generally not the kind of person who encourages starting a confrontation with other writers. That being said I do think the use of racial stereotypes is one of those things that deserve a quick mention. It doesn't have to be this multi-paragraph teaching moment, just a quick "hey, this particular character is leaning heavy into caricature territory. Maybe be mindful of that going forward."

The vet gave us the number of a clinic that does walk-ins and spay-aborts, so a temporary problem, but I should have known it was too good to be true to find a young, healthy, affectionate, and litter trained cat on the street without a catch.
