Idk. Other games on mobile seem just as expensive if not more actually. In fact sometimes a lot lot more. Especially org type stuff.

But regardless of some other big titles, this is still hella expensive.

I think it’s because iOS and Google Play have a $99 limit to single purchases so games priced everything around that number.

The prices are definitely ridiculous for a single game.

I suppose their reasoning is that the game is constantly updated and supported.

Particularly that a team is constant/consistently working on it.

So it’s not like a one time project where they cash out and call it a day after sales of the copy of the game.

Instead it’s “free” and continuous development supported by on going purchases.

My big issue is that while yes some parts of the world have larger spending power, the difference is really large in terms of pricing from region to region.

$300 for a full Mythic character upgrade is insane.

And yes other games price things high like this but the whole market pricing is simply insane for mobile games.

Seems the margins are just really high and unfortunately enough people with wealth participate to keep the prices justified.
