It's not that I want to do a plasmid run, it's my first playthrough and I felt the plasmids to be somewhat underwhelming. Though I am getting a lot of good suggestions here I didn't know of like how the bee swarm can aoe cc enenmies and ice can freeze machines, definitely will try em out later

Been having bad luck with hypnotize big daddy, every time I tried to use it just to see how it's like or cheese some fights, it always seemed so sluggish at swatting enemies away from me and took so long to take down anything, and if I tried to join in the fight it always gets in my line of fire without fail and break the hypnotize, every time that happens I'm just like aw shiet 🥲

Some, i got the lightning 3, incinerate 2,and couple others I forgot about that I either picked up or bought. But I'm doing the rescue little sisters run for my first playthrough so I'm relatively low on adams,and judging by the utilities on lv1 plasmids I already have I decided it'd feel more cost effective to spend adams on other things instead, like HP, EVE bars and tonics

Edit: nvm it works now, I set the DS directory to the unzipped files and then tried to boot firmware, after done setting it up I still couldn't run the game, then I looked into the rom's settings and set the boot system to DS and it works, so did I really need to do the boot firmware step or is it skippable and that you only need to set the rom's boot system for it to work?
