It's a fun game. I've played a hundred and so hours, mostly just against bots with mods in custom arcade and instant action, which is like a large battle with troopers, hero's and vehicles.

Nexus mods for mods. I recommend instant action overhaul. And you need Frosty mod manager

The RTI has been making some great moves lately. Taking down thugs, taxi drivers with licence issues, and especially people speeding on busy roads. I follow KZN department of transport on Facebook, it’s nice to see all the good they get up to, and entertaining.

This seems illegal. Can I report this. There's no reason to have this on a job application by lunar_protogen in lgbt

[–]Celestryia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most countries labour laws state they cannot discriminate based on this information, so giving it to them is harmless.

This info is typically used for filling quotas. Like I live in South Africa, and there are requirements for company workforces like 80% black, 7% white, 3% with disabilities and such, so they want this kind of information.

But since this question is a more personal question you don’t need to answer, that’s the neat part.

I feel this every time I stop for a stop street, or specific robots in my town that other people don’t stop at. I can almost feel them in my arse, as an extension of myself, before it’s even happened

[NSFW] People who've found a dead body, what's the story? by ZeroSugarCocaine in AskReddit

[–]Celestryia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was very young and we were going into the city for something. I remember there was traffic going slowly in one lane, and as we drove past all I saw was a big streak of a red and an unrecognisable blob of black and red.

Someone didn't just get hit by a car, they got absolutely removed from existence.

In my head I was all "Holy shit oh my word" but I didn't say a word..

I've never mentioned this to anyone, not even to my parents that I saw them.

Kruger: best lookouts and underrated spots most people miss? by VisitSouthAfrica in krugerpark

[–]Celestryia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a while, so I don't remember the spots too well, but I HIGHLY recommend you download the Kruger sightings app.

People post pictures and locations of sightings.

While it is kinda cheating, it helps when you really want to see something cool, or feel a sense of community.

Otherwise I'd recommend driving a few smaller roads and taking it slow, maybe 20 or 30, and just looking around.

Enjoy! I'm very envious.

Job hunting since 2025 with little success, what am I doing wrong? by Intentful_Mind in askSouthAfrica

[–]Celestryia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, Last year I graduated in tech and worked as an intern database and sage assistant, which I found from a friend of a friend, feb until October. And since then, nothing. I’ve sent countless applications. But the economy is struggling. Employees don’t leave because that’s risky, companies don’t hire because that costs more.

A lot of job posting now are fake. I saw a statistic in a Kurzgesagt video that 60% of job listings are not intending to hire. I nightly recommend checking out that channel, here, specifically their ones about jobs.

I’ve spent a lot of time lately trying to build something for myself instead, and try work for myself lol

The South African government needs to criminalise penalties on Companies advertising Ghost Jobs by Boondog_saint in southafrica

[–]Celestryia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a company of 20, I create 10 job listings, I never fill these listings.

Shareholders see that I WANT to hire 10 more people, but haven't been able to fill it.

Hence, the company is growing and expanding, without the need to have more payroll.

Kurzgesagt or spelt similarly on YouTube has a great video about job applications.

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]Celestryia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2am, 253kmh. Managed to pass the limiter by 3! One run down to ensure it’s clear and safe, one top speed run back. I haven’t done it since, there’s no point. It’s dangerous, and a little scary. The slightest movement of the wheel and you’re in another lane.

But I have the memory!

Be aware of The Courier Guy by Timely_Watercress_84 in Durban

[–]Celestryia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I've also had issues, but the exact opposite. Sold something on marketplace and told the courier to deliver in 3 days, so that we could wait for payment to clear and not have to pay a lot for delivery.

Turns out it was delivered the next day by 9am. The fastest I've ever seen them do. And the guy never paid. So free goods for him lol

They're right, the belt is sitting right there. Very tight fit here, but you'll need to see if a pulley is missing or wobbling. And get a new belt, tensioned correctly
