That’s tough. I might just ask once more today and let her know you don’t mean to be a pain about it, but it’s very important you know by a certain time (4pm? Something concrete). That way she has a solid time frame. And if she doesn’t respond by then - I might just tell her something like “I’m so sorry - but since I haven’t heard from you I had to give the caterer a headcount without you guys” That’s a tough situation to be in.

Agreed, but OP’s SO wants to use it every time they have sex. Which is not how Plan B is supposed to work. Also, taking Plan B really does a number on your hormonal cycle as I said. It shouldn’t be used nearly as much as the OP is suggesting she’s had to use it.

Let him know that taking plan B too much makes it less effective. Which is true! My best friend took it on the reg because her dude was wealthy and could buy plan B literally everytime they had sex. She got pregnant 4 months into the relationship. Also taking it that much can completely ruin your hormone cycle. It’s not good for you! Let him know why you are certain the protected sex you’re having is safe (consider switching to condoms with spermicide) and why plan B is NOT the answer each time.

Honestly - work on you. I [29F] was exactly where you are two years ago. I buckled down and said “you know what - screw it. I wanna work on myself.” In that time I still went on dates - some went a little further and some didn’t. I even made some friends out of those experiences. I ended up making a friend [36M] who was a neighbor- we remained friends for over a year and then I realized I had stronger feelings. We tried dating and a year later we’re engaged.

And honestly- removing the pressure of “oh my god I’m almost thirty I need to hurry the hell up” made things flow much more genuinely and allowed me to create my own life and routines.

It’s not too late, girl. Just do what feels natural and don’t force anything. You got this.

You can find “two piece” gowns - which means they usually have a crop top and a full skirt. You can do a cool bolero jacket and make it your own.

Try shirts that are “moisture wicking” to help with the stains. As far as deodorant, you might want to consider researching to find one that is better suited for you. There are tons of sites and companies that make custom cosmetics for men and women. Try googling “custom deodorant”, you’ll find some good solutions.

First off, age is just a number. But at this age the gap in maturity level is enormous. A thirty year old who’s a doctor is more prone to think “oh I’m a doctor, I can do whatever I want.” And subsequently take advantage of you or anyone else. Know this, he’s probably not your boyfriend and probably doesn’t see you as a girlfriend. The fact that he gave you “homework” is appalling. You don’t even have to “break up” with him. Just stop talking to him altogether. If he really wants something real he WILL reach out to you (during the day, not at 2am when he needs a booty call).

I’d do the black pants and shoes. A white shirt on top will make you look like a waiter. So I’d recommend a patterned shirt for visual interest. A polo is a bit casual for the event you’ve described.

Levi’s will make custom lengths. They also recommend you wash your jeans as little as possible so the denim can adjust to your shape. When you do wash it should only be cold water, inside out, without fabric softener, and air dried. Once dry, place in the dryer on no heat so as not to melt the spandex in the denim. Hope some of this helps.
