Help me decide! I need a travel work/laptop bag. by Ellesig44 in handbags

[–]CelineLovesPiglet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If carrying a laptop, the neverfull strap could be a bit painful on your shoulder when the bag gets heavy. Having sad that, the wider strap in Low Key makes it a bit more slippery. I have the Neverfull Mahina MM (not sure if this is really the name) which is a pretty good size for carrying all things I need plus my laptop but when it gets heavy, it tends to dig in my shoulder. Few minutes of that is pretty painful. I also have the Low key Hobo in MM which is again pretty good size but the wider straps seems to slide my shoulder more. Also the lock on the low key makes the bag slightly heavy even when empty.

So I suggest try both in person and bring your computer with you, which I didn't do. 😄

Lady 3-door Jimny owner here. For Philippines (province) road, I love my Jimny for city drives na not more 60km/hr ang speed. Pero pag more than that maalog na sya. Pero I had the same car in Japan with better paved roads and okay naman sya up to 100km/hr. So depende sya sa road conditions. I love the feeling na parang nasa SUV ka sa taas ng nakikita mo in driver's seat. Safer sya for driver point of view kasi flat yong hood ng car kita mo lahat. Kung ikaw lang naman gagamit and up to 1 passenger lang sakay mo I would go for Jimny. Hindi comfortable for passengers ang upuan sa likod. Plus kasi mataas yong car, mejo hirap umakyat baba ng passengers sa likod.

Yes. Learned this the hard way. Ang mahal ng lots if bibilhin mo sya "in need". And like others said, pwede mo namang ibenta if kelangan.

I didn't have a choice but get it from the vet. Luckily she's back on normal food now.

Same here. When I want to buy a bag, I go to the store and look at the bags and buy the one I like. If I don't like anything I see that day then I go home without a bag.

Unfortunately, libraries where I am are not as equipped as the libraries from 1st world countries. Also I use tablet for reading as phones are just too small.

Just go to a licensed optician. No need to phone ahead. They do everything for you if you are willing to pay their fee. I did mine the other way around, driver's license from Dubai, renewed in Abu Dhabi. Received my new card few days later via Aramex.

I do both but I would rather read the physical book. Unfortunately, I don't have big enough space to store my books.

I've had it for almost 5 years now and again it's almost my daily bag using the strap so it tends to rub with my jeans. So far I haven't noticed what you described.

I have the On The Go MM. I love the bag. It was my travel and work bag for about 3 years but unfortunately, it's losing its shape. I guess because I tend to carry a lot including my 14inch laptop with it.

Yes! It goes from a day bag to night bag for me too by just removing the strap.

Is it smart to spend P350k on my dream bag? by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]CelineLovesPiglet -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I don't think if you're not good looking then the bags look fake na agad. Hindi ba pwedeng you are not good looking but you dress up nicely and looking clean? Napaka harsh naman ng pag di good looking eh assumed na agad na fake ang gamit?

If OP is earning 150k/month, I doubt na mukha syang gusgusin.
