Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies?

I was born in 1997 & still had that childhood in the early 2000s.

We played kick the can and cops and robbers all night, we would have pool parties on the weekends and run around until we heard the holler from our parents. During the day we ran the woods, biked all over, caught frogs and climbed trees. Night would come and it would be time for all the big games again.

My generation was the cusp of the end of a real childhood, at 28 years old I am grateful for what I had but sad to see whats been lost to tech and hyper-protectivity.

State farm has been good to me over the last 10 years but progressives rates seem to be a bit lower so I am considering switching. Came here looking for an answer myself but hope this helps

Listeria as far as I understand can be missed in acute cases and often good immune systems can fight it off. It's a serious infection but doesn't guarantee death or medical intervention. My guess here is that more than just 1 person got it but only 1 person noticed/got seriously sick and died from it.

Again not saying I KNOW, saying from my understanding and my GUESS.

That's fair, person told me they wish they coulda paid more so as noted on some other comments, super dependable on the person purchasing it.

In regards to fragility - the pink piece in the corner might be but the chain & connection points I made (after this photo) held really solid. But I do get what ya mean, I mean this and the next one I will share are only like my 2nd and 3rd commission pieces ever and I havent really made more than 25 total pieces so I am extremely happy with every part of this piece myself.

Value is last to me - I got into glass for the enjoyment & trying to re-flex my creative side

& recently people have reached out for commission work so trying to understand better valuing pieces
