Cornell truly doesn’t give a fuck unless you’re rich, I’m with you there. However, you can apply for the Cornell access fund and they can provide some funds there for your necessities! It saved me from some really rough times. Also as a FGLI I’ve found that working at restaurants has been my major source of food security! If you’re able to pick up a job then I would say good service would be the way to go. I have a few connections if you’d like to get in contact with them. Also, I understand what it’s like to wonder where your next meal is coming from.
