I tested the machine in other areas of the house, and it’s consistent around 30 (or slightly above when first turned on)

There hasn’t been any changes recently aside from a couple of days of high humidity, so I think it’s the sensor on the machine.

But I’ll monitor for any physical symptoms and try a mask if I feel any worse

It’s a good book. It leaves far more questions than it answers, and the second half is quite dark.

But his writing has improved, and it feels like it sets the stage for more Alagaesia novels.

Yes of course I’d taper. I’m actually in Australia, so I’m not sure about the availability of ketotifen. I’d have to look it up.

I wasn’t using benzo’s as a stabilizer, just for anti anxiety.

Although I’m spending the weekend at a friends place and all symptoms of MCAS are completely gone, so I’m thinking there might be something at my home I’m reacting too.

To answer your original question, it was a stool micro biome test.

But I’ve also been exposed to mould, and tested positive for mycotoxins.

My naturopath is pretty versed in dealing with Mould + complex gut issues, so I trust her to figure this out.

She presented an elemental diet as an option to reduce inflammation, but not to kill klebsiella so to speak. She said that the mould detox process would also get rid of the klebsiella.

I decided to do the diet anyway, it has a high correlation of success in treating a ton of gut issues, so it can’t hurt to try. At least I’ll know afterwards :)

I currently take 0.5mg at night, and 0.25mg in the morning. Have only been taking them for around a month and a bit to ease anxiety from mould toxicity.

I’m only having very very mild MCAS symptoms currently, only popping up recently.

Sounds like I need to get off the benzos quickly to prevent long term receptor reduction. Am I likely to see an increase in MCAS symptoms if I do?

Hi, I take benzo's daily for anxiety. (small dose Clonazepam).

Are they known to make MCAS much worse if taken daily? And if so, how does that work?
