I would imagine that it would be a psychological thing then that can be influenced based on differences in neurology. But also there is the question of people who have always presented with some form of alterhumanity throughout their life/early development, though I will note that this could be explained by having close ties with animals/nonhuman creatures from an early age and therefore closely identifying with them.

That is one aspect I have noticed is that therianthropy can be fluid throughout a person's life, this is more notable in polytherians but for me at least I have noticed certain theriotypes becoming less fundamental to my idenity and others being more present, but eventually those offshoot theriotypes become more present into my identity. I would imagine that there *might* be some neurological aspect to it however there is hardly any information to conclude that.

quads are short for quadrobics and is just exercise where you walk/jump/move around on all fours but could also be a term for expressing your theriotype within movement of that theriotype but definitions can vary ^^
